I thought it was fantastic before kick off and prior to them scoring and then went quiet till early 2nd half when the south stand corner started to get the crowd going again. Didn’t hear Dolman block A at all. I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere. It was like everyone was dragged into watching how well Man City were playing and concentrating on the likes of Foden etc.

I wonder if Bristol City's CEO  Phil Alexander  who left Wycombe 10 days ago, had an impact on this and knew things about his deal to give us the heads up.

Do you think Nige doesn’t rate him yet? Recalls  Thomas from Bath City rather than putting him on the bench. Been scoring goals in u21 and I would have said he would have been nailed on for a place on the bench as we are lacking in that department. Could we see another Britton situation?? 

Anyone seen a report on what type of Gk he is? Is he good with his feet? Find a pass? Shot stopper etc I’ve not heard much on him.

If Weimann is injured as well as Conway, I would put Atkinson in Defence as I thought he played well today, got a bad ball from max on his wrong foot, push Naismith into the midfield 3 along with James and Williams and have Scott and Semenyo either side of Wells.

20 mins? That’s all you get if you are using shop. That will soon go once you look around the shop with the kids. Wow I wonder why the barrier had gone. 

What is the free parking time at Ashton Gate stadium if you are going into the shop or maybe grabbing a coffee after? Do you collect a ticket on the way in and pay at machine?? What do you do if barriers are up just drive in and out when finished?? 

With Pearson saying previously we have to be smart with our transfers and trade players maybe he will look at the likes of James Hill loan, Ben Pearson or even Sikri Dembele transfer as part of the deal. There is also the opportunity of Scott returning on loan. 

Will this mean that Bristol City could look at a new kit supplier for 23/24 season?? I know they signed a deal with Hummel for multiple years.  However could this contract be broken now??

What is the likelihood of Norwich away being cancelled on Wednesday? Surely they won’t cancel the midweek games, I can see them cancelling next weekend games if they are saying they need the police for preparation of the state funeral on the Monday but leave us the Midweek fixtures.

From Tin mans comments last night sounds like Seb Palmer-Houlden is going to be training with the first team squad as they’ve been impressed with his numbers while on loan.

In both cup games we didn’t field a full bench (8 instead of 9) so if he’d have been fit he would have been involved, like he was at Coventry when he got on as a late sub.

Lot of talk of Towler going out on loan today but wondered if he might, our small numbers overall could be the only reason not, I guess.

I wondered if we would see loans for Bell, Towler and Owers? They all need game time and experience.  Kadji and Pring also but the squad is to small for to many loans. 

Where is Sam Bell currently? Not in squads or even in the League Cup squad last week where a lot of the fringe players played. Surely we will be looking for a loan for him today?

I’ve said in previous posts that he would have been top of my list for a striker we should have been looking at if Wells went, unfortunately we were never going to be able to compete with our current situation. @Davefevs looked at his numbers and he was very good. The sort of gamble we should have been taking if the timing was right. 

I’ve heard that Idehen is going out on loan, so that would make sense with this link.

Interesting how Idehen has fallen behind Towler in the pecking order, towards end of last season he was infront of Towler, seems like Towler has had a good preseason after NP mentioned him in his BBC interview yesterday. 
 

what’s happened to Marlee Francois? I thought he has been training with 1st team but not been in any u23 squads yet.
