Did Chris Martin have a new song on Saturday? Am I right in saying it’s Chris Martins on my mind and he’s city’s number 9.

When do these codes get sent? I have 4 season tickets and not been sent a code to the email address attached. 2nd game running not had a code. I get all the other emails about hospitality for first game etc!

I heard this last week, I’m looking on the bright side, I think it will give the opportunity for Scott to play in the hole behind Martin and Weimann and really give him some freedom on the pitch to express himself with James and Williams in behind him.  
 

we know that Nige likes to play 2 up top and his favourite 2 anchors in midfield is James and Williams.

Southampton are linked with Man City’s Ireland International GK.

My thinking is a blackout kit like the leisurewear judging on the away warm up top, very colourful design with black back, the same as last season when we had a colourful away warm up top with black back. Might be just over thinking it. Definitely can’t see green shorts with that warm up shirt.

I see it’s being reported on Twitter that palmer is signing for Coventry.  Adi Viveash has past connection with palmer at Chelsea. 

I quite like a all red shirt inspired by the Danish 86 shirt.

Pearson has said he wants experienced defenders and I see that being Klose, Atkinson and new CB with Idehen and Towler as the younger ones pushing these 3 guys. I don’t see the need for a 3rd inexperienced defender on the books. Pearson has said he wants to reduce the wage bill and work with a smaller squad and  I see 5 CB enough especially if Pearson wants to play 2 CB’s.  

So with City planning next seasons defensive who can you see staying and going from the latest crop?

Zak Vyner, Thomas Kalas, Nathan Baker, Timm Klose, Rob Atkinson, Duncan Idehen, Rob Cundy, Ryley Towler and Taylor Moore. 
 

I can see 5 of the 9 going with another 23/24 year old league one defender coming in. 
 

I would keep Klose, Atkinson, Idehen, Towler and new CB.

Judging on his reception at the end, by throwing his shirt into the crowd at the end and clapping all 4 stands plus not coming back out with the rest of the players I believe that’s the last we will see of him at Ashton Gate.

I think I a ideal world NP would like to get out the high earners at the club and replace them with players on a more realistic salary for the club. He has already stated that he wants more established championship players, so that’s going to be interesting. I think if he can get out the high earners at the club and potentially only lose Han Noah then that would be a good summer as long as he brings in established championship players that will improve us.

I would rather see hungry league 1, 2 and foreign players come into the club. It’s going to be a tough few years ahead for the club. People have to understand there is a lot of shit going on at the club that needs to be resolved and that’s not going to happen over night.
