Hamilton probably thinks 2025 cannot come soon enough!
And surely Sainz will be lined up by Mercedes or Red Bull?
Strong start for Haas - maybe the change has done them good?Let’s face it, he’s not going to get any special treatment now they know he’s leaving, the opposite in fact. They won’t be sharing new tech etc with him, in case he blabs to Ferrari when he gets there. Russell will get any advancements etc, and they’ll just wind down Lewis’s contract.

The one race I decide to stay in bed and not get up, and THAT happens! The cheering was brilliant to hear I have to say, and his stroppy face!
Still watching it (delayed obviously) C’mon Norris!

People who say “we’re pregnant.”
No, you can say “we’re having a baby!” but the only pregnant one is the female carrying the baby!

Imagine Dyche saying "vomitory".
Oh please god no! Pardon the pun, but I was just a bit sick in my mouth!

Sean Dyche’s voice. I literally have to mute the telly, or if my other half is insisting on listening to him (usually just to wind me up!) then I either leave the room, or talk loudly over the top of it all.

Exactly, that is exactly what an acronym is, taking the initials if something and creating a word with them. It seems perfectly valid to me!
When you just say the letters (as in R.I.P.) that is an initialisation.
Well in the case of VAR, I don’t like it!

Exactly, and a word made from the initials would be an acronym, and a valid word once it is in general use.
Radar and scuba are good examples.
(RAdio Direction And Range, Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus)
R.I.P. wouldn't work as rip is a word with a different meaning already.
I’ll clarify, I’m meaning when people say var like you would say car but with a v. That’s the bit I’m objecting to.

Agreed on R.I.P.
VAR is an acronym so is a word in it's own right, though maybe it should be Var rather than capitalised.
But it’s not though is it? It stands for video assistant referee?

He says yes it’s on Heads Roll. Also the John Peel version, but he doesn’t think that’s on vinyl. He says he’ll do a bit more research and come back to you.

an acquired taste but I like them and I love Blindness - especially the version live Hammersmith Palais but this is not available on Vinyl (well I cannot find it) - seems there are millions of Fall Bootlegs and I bought Live in (Jimmy) Clitheroe - opens with Blindness but a terrible sound.
Any Fall fans that know a good live version and which album I can find it on?
Are you on Twitter? My other half (who does have an account on here, but rarely posts) is a massive Fall fan. I can give you his Twitter name if you want to speak to him on there. If not then reply to this post and I will ask him questions for you

People who write or say RIP, when what they should be writing/saying is R.I.P.
This also applies to people who say “VAR” like it’s a word, when they should be spelling it out, as it’s three separate words.

Whoever invented those bastard insanely loud hand dryers! Like seriously, who though they were a good idea?

Just in case anyone didn’t know, the CCTV at/inside the ground is good enough that for example, cameras can zoom in enough that they could see the time on your watch.

Been here an hour already! Billy no mates today, other than my 3 year old. Where else would I be on Mother’s Day though?

When you’re driving/in traffic, and you can’t see round the car/vehicle in front, to see what’s happening on the road, because of the size of it.
Random I know, and probably a bit niche because I’m short!

Read today that the reason Verstappens dad is so keen to get Horner out, is because the woman that Horner was exchanging messages with, was in some sort of relationship with Verstappen senior.

I think the difference in the past was that, even when one team was dominating, other stuff (crashes, reliability issues etc) was still happening. Now it just feels too safe and sanitised. I’m not meaning that I want anyone hurt, just at least that meant there was something else going on to keep us watching.

People who go to the effort of putting their dogs poo into a poo bag BUT then just chuck the bag in a bush or on the floor, or anywhere but a bin! Like dog poo anywhere is bad, but dog poo in a plastic bag that’ll instead take hundreds of years to decompose…WHY?!?
Completely unrelated, people who when they can see my little girl running to press the button at a pedestrian crossing so she can stop the cars, and can hear me saying something along the lines of “go on then, press the button” BUT they still just go and press the button themselves!

Saw a video of one of our fans having a right go at Famara as he came out to get on the coach yesterday
To his credit, Famara stood his ground, and told politely him to pack it in.
