Yes that is possible.
Their main and only witness changed their mind, and told the CPS that they wouldn’t be testifying anymore, and so the CPS decide there sadly wasn’t a strong enough case without said witness, to have a reasonable chance of a prosecution. That’s the only reason a trial isn’t going ahead anymore.

Am literally dreading my insurance renewal in a few months. Had 11 years of no claims, and then a minor bump in February, followed by me aquaplaining on the M5 and unfortunately writing my car off in March means I’m fearing mine is going to go through the roof

That picture on the front is so wrong! If it’s fully mixed in I can cope, it was the casual way it wasn’t that was triggering me. . .
