  1. Draw I think but England coming in to chance of a win I hope.
  2. Great to see him score - just hoping it’s a springboard to regular league goals. I’m not convinced it will but it’s a start.
  3. Won’t always work well in sub continent...
  4. We haven’t got a decent spinner - until we do we won’t be beating India. In fact I reckon we will get smashed by them.

I’ve had a knee issue for last ten days. Did 1:47:12 (PB) for a half on NYD and today 1:59:00 despite 9 days rest. Not really sure what can be done other than rest?
  6. It was an entertaining game and a good header for first gol by Rovers.
  7. I'd be hacked off in some respects that we couldn't be there to see it. I certainly wouldn't want to be promoted watching at home so all this season is about for me is just getting it done and staying in the Championship.
  8. They need to find a way of getting it done asap as people can't go on like this for much longer - it isn't a surprise you see especially young people breaking rules etc as I would feel exactly the same as they do. We will be at the one year point by the time we are meant to have the 50+ vaccinated so that would be a time to start getting back to normal over the Spring/Summer and be ready by next Winter to have everyone vaccinated so we can go on as normal. Personally I do feel as though the long term cost (overall) of having lockdown is much worse than not having lockdowns (first one was the exception due to the unknown). But unfortunately the severe underfunding of the NHS means all they can do is say the NHS will be over run every time which is costing so much to everyone.
  9. Yes but which idiot put it at 4.30am?! Its hard to care about City as it doesn't seem real. I like to have sport on to watch though as else its just box sets or exercise - other than that its working or shopping. Not much of a life.
  10. It’s not just the economy, it’s so many other things (mental and physical health of millions plus lots of other social things like education etc). It’s a disgrace that kids are missing out on education. We can’t go on as we are for much longer in any respect. Either the vaccine works or there will need to be a time when we stop millions being jobless and homeless as the government can’t keep dishing out financial support forever. Let alone all the cancers missed, mental health being in pieces etc. Personally I think lockdowns (apart from the first one) are just short termism that do more damage than good. It’s the criminal underfunding of the nhs that the current government can use as a reason for lockdowns and people to agree. If it was funded properly and they actually got their arses into gear and vaccinated anyone over 50-60 ASAP then we wouldn’t be in such a big mess at the moment.
  11. Not at top end - demand is huge at top clubs. As you go down leagues you might find things drop off a bit.
  12. If things are put back to normal then fans will come back quickly if the team is doing well. They always do.
  13. All of it since last March had been lockdown of some variety - whether it be tier 2 (lockdown lite) etc. At least sport keeps going else we might as well be dead right now cos we ain’t living that’s for sure.

I managed a half for first time in about 6 years last week. 1:50:34 which I was also very pleased about! No idea how people run a marathon.
  15. Yeh I’ve no real issue with that. Either pay or stay up home and get the refunds on your season ticket etc.
  16. Fair enough - my refunds aren’t going directly to me so I have no idea. Guess it might be potd prices then for now.
  17. Surely they just won’t refund those who go so it’ll be at your season ticket price. There won’t be anywhere near as much interest from session ticket holders as many have said on here. There will be many like me who have no interest to go back until it is normal. Then you have lots not in the right tiers etc. And many who can’t go due to fears of catching it etc. Basically all kinds of reasons will leave only a few thousand interested.
  18. It’s hard to care about any of it until there are proper games again with away fans and it’s normal I find. I have games on but barely watch them sometimes due to the poor football, no crowd, no edge, fake crowd noises etc. Just isn’t real to me. When it’s back to full crowds without any rules etc then I’ll go back but it’s good some people who want to go back will be able to (for now).
  19. No chance this will be followed or policed though. Pubs will be desperate for the money.
  20. Agreed and that’s saying something as it’s not the best.
  21. Facemasks, not sitting in your own seat and no atmosphere. Sounds great...
  22. As soon as people over about 60 have had the vaccine then full houses should be back - you'd hope they can roll this out fairly swiftly. The people under 60 getting issues with this are so low it isn't worth holding up life for everyone else. So I would expect full houses by start of next season latest. Hopefully for the euros as I have tickets 6 games...
  23. I have no interest in going to a sterile 4,000 attended game. Expect there will be many interested though so good for them and should have done ages ago. Daft for old Trafford to have 4,000 though - have a row each.
