I love 5 day cricket but I think the world (except England) seems to generally agree 4 day game is the way to go. Means we won't get games like that one anymore which is a real shame.

Fammy hasn’t been bad at all - hit bar/post with a great header. Also looked the only one likely to score. Anyone to come on for Pato.

No not that bad.

Really good, if somewhat unexpected, win today. Obviously the early goal turned out to be vital but we should have been 2 or 3 up by 70 minutes. At that point we sat back but never looked in real trouble. LJ did a great job on the tactics today. Kelly and Kalas so assured at the back. Ellissson put in numerous dangerous crosses and Weimann again a good performance. Blackburn a tough game next week but that was our best performance in ages and I hope we can build on it now.

Got to enjoy the win but long way to go. Let’s be honest we will probably get beaten Saturday and then the knives will be out again. First goal was important - luckily they were a shambles at the back. And remember it should have been 2-1 but for them missing an open goal. Weimann looks good and Kelly looks better and better with each game. Maenpaa looked assured with crosses but made a horrible error that we got away with. I’m still not sold on Hunt, Webster or Watkins. And clearly Pisano isn’t a centre back or left back. The good news is that once Bailey Fammy and Baker come back it should improve but Korey will be a big miss. Hoping for at least 2 loan signings.

It’s weird cos on the one hand it’s great to come from 2 down but also we haven’t won away since December. And to concede those goals was shocking - against a team likely to be down there too. QPR away is a real chance to end it (despite our poor record there).

Fair point in the end I think. I don’t think it was terrible but clearly not great either - some of the over reactions just mental on here. Forest will be around the playoffs I think and us in a similar position to last season. Started off well and almost 2 up before they improved. They could have gone 2–1 up with a sustained spell of pressure after they scored. But either side could have won it in last ten with chances. New keeper looked ok and made one good save. Hunt looks weak defensively and they targeted him a lot - a potential concern. Webster ok - a little bit over confident at times. Weimann - nice goal but I didn’t think too great otherwise. Eliasson looked bright and will set up a few goals this season. We badly missed Fammy up to and Paterson carried on last seasons form sadly. I’m no Taylor fan but he’s a better option than Pato right now. O’Dowda looks unfit and we need Korey in there - should be first choice. Overall we continue to lack consistency - a good ten mins here and there won’t take us to the top 6. Plenty to work on but certainly nothing to worry about...yet.

And to think many don't rate our 1 in 2 man Fammy... Really poor first half that but we did improve slightly after a shocking first 25. I'd have Kelly on for Pato and switch him with Bryan on that wing. Sadly we have no replacement really for Wright who looks poor.

Not really. I mean what more can he do with the resources given? I don't see anyone else coming in and doing better either. Good solid manager. Be careful what you wish for.

It's a win that keeps us in the running but let's be honest, unless something drastic happens we ain't gonna make the playoffs. Kelly and Djuric good though. Awful game against a terrible side.

Wow that is a depressing end to a game - we've thrown away a 3 goal lead twice under LJ. Can't remember us doing that prior to the Derby game. Frightening run of games now.
