  1. It’s not. But thanks for the compliment. ?
  2. I think a match between the top two teams country, in the same competition, on television and within weeks of our game, provides plenty of context. Anyway I’m going down a rabbit hole here which I shouldn’t have as what I think or anyone else thinks the price is the price. I simply think season ticket holders should have got a discounted price compared to day trippers. That is all. Good night ??
  3. Right. So it’s a second rate competition but they will easily sell out 4000 tickets to a seven hour round trip, midweek game against a team that is near the bottom of the league below them? Just like we would easily sell out our a JPL 5th round game away against Salford or Oldham or Stockport on a February Tuesday night I guess? (our second hand cup equivalent for many years). Ok mate……. Why not just admit it? It’s not second rate at all. They respect this cup massively (same with the League Cup). And they treated their season ticket holders well by offering them discounted priced tickets in the same competition against the current top team in the country. Maybe because you aren’t a season ticket holder yourself?
  4. It’s not second rate at all. And I bet you Man City sell out their allocation - which they wouldn’t if it was. Happy to bet the cost of a SS ticket on that - money goes to a charity of the winners choice.
  5. They were playing the top team in the country. Hardly ‘less appealing’. Unless you think the FA Cup is second rate? They look after their season ticket holders.
  6. And? Your point was about watching going to watch the gas, or go and watch local football and ‘f off’ if we only wanted to spend £22, was it not?
  7. Man City Season ticket holders got to watch them against Arsenal in the FA Cup, current league leaders, for £22.50 in their family stand and £25 in their South Stand. So the top two in the country for ‘Lidl prices’.
  8. In terms of Rugby then yes - Clermont are a huge club with a massive pedigree in the European and domestic leagues. Equivalent to Champions League finalists 3 times in the last ten years, UEFA cup equivalent winners 3 times since 2000 and French League winners (equivalent to Prem in rugby terms) twice in last ten years A huge club in rugby terms.
  9. No it won’t - hence my point about them being able to charge more as City will. Like I subsequently said though - I’m really not worried - but I do think ST holders should be rewarded for their loyalty - even it is just £5 cheaper per ticket. Gestures go a long way to foster good relationships.
  10. That’s not season ticket holder specific though ? Tbh I’m probably coming across on this as if I'm losing my shit about it but I’m really not. I get it. Just do think that ST holders loyalty deserves rewarding by the club - ‘glamour tie’ or not.
  11. For the rugby cup game against Clermont I get both a reduced ticket and to keep my seat if I choose before it goes in general sale. Not sure why football is any different. Same organisation. Both plum ties. Only answer is money and the club know they can rinse the ST’s over this one as it will 99.9999% sell out. Think loyalty should be rewarded but just my view.
  12. For season ticket holders yes it is. Season tickets holders should’ve been given discount. For a one off payment to the club from those who rarely or ever go then prices are fair enough, but those who support with their pockets on a yearly basis should’ve received a gesture of good will here imho.
  13. Bit of a piss take that they haven’t done a better price for ST holders imho. Should be rewarded for putting in year after year.
  14. Very very impressive if we pull this off. We’re obviously getting a very good rep for being a club for up and coming players to use as a pathway to the top. Long may it continue (until we get there ourselves of course).
  15. Chris Sutton raving about Sam Bell on 606. Sssshh Chris!
  16. He has been fantastic hasnt he. What a game as well. Fair play to Wrexham.
  17. It was deemed so important that there was a famous OTIB poll on the subject!
  18. That’s right. There was a massive fuss about it and then when it came to it it was like something from a kids birthday party!
  19. Do you not get the point? We are taking about developing your own youth players not loans. Jesus wept.
  20. You used the laugh emoji. That’s generally used if you find something funny. Difficult for a gashead to fathom though, evidently.
  21. We’re talking about youth development not loans. Not like a Gashead to change the subject though. Also interesting that you seem to find the fact that your manager stubbed a cigar out on a kids face funny. You must really be a believer.
  22. Plenty of talent in the South West you could be developing but any youth player who’s anywhere near half decent wouldn’t come near your shithole of a club. Given your manager is prone to stubbing out cigars in youth players eyes, it’s probably just as well.
