  1. Well I presume you do support Bristol City and I’ve not said you don’t? But you also post about your very keen regard for Millwall - hence my point. I like going to Millwall as well. It’s a proper club. Which is what I want our club to be. A club with a heart and not some plastic happy clappy soulless entity. And I have read your posts. They seem very anti those trying to improve the atmosphere hidden under some veil that everyone doing it must be doing something wrong - which imho is completely your prerogative but a big shame.
  2. On Saturday I walked past at about 2.55pm and there was a big queue coming back down the stairs into the concourse. Must’ve been checking surely or else why the big queue. That’s what I presumed anyway.
  3. I’m not going to get into Millwalls reputation. I couldn’t care less about it but to say it’s down to a ‘few’ is pushing it. I got the knife slitting action directed towards me when I was 12 and in the subsequent 30 years I have seen many incidents involving them with a lot more involved than a few - both in person and online or in the media. But I digress. It just strikes me as very odd that someone so supportive about such a club who have plenty of issues would be so very anti their own club showing trying to show a bit more passion. Of course there will be issues but it can get ironed out organically I’m sure and I haven’t seen that Saturday caused anything awful (it may be out there fwiw). Just don’t understand the vehement attitude against it, especially from someone who loves Millwall!
  4. Why does anyone wanting to make an atmosphere have to speak to the club about anything? As long as you pay for your ticket and don’t upset fellow fans? You are well known on here for your love / respect of Millwall - do you think their fans consult with the club every time they want to make a racket - which they do even when there isn’t many of them? Surely you love Millwall because of this atmosphere not in spite of it? So why are you so vocal in being against our own fans making an effort? Genuinely baffled.
  5. Yep. Lansdown wants good little boys who sit on their hands and don’t say boo to anything or anyone. It’s infuriating. We used to be a club that was recognised for its fan base - for being vocal, for being intimidating, for creating an atmosphere. Now we are just a pleasant day out for away fans. I used to laugh at teams like Yeovil, Fulham, Wycombe and Reading and their boring, happy clappy atmospheres but sadly we have become just like them and it seems a fair few people are very happy with that, not just Lansdown. It’s a shame as atmosphere is what got so many of us into football in the first place.
  6. Yep, 100%. Needs to be supported for the greater good of everyone attending who surely must enjoy a better atmosphere, I completely agree and it was great to hear Pearson and others in the media comment about it on Saturday after the game. But the lads going in there must respect those that are in there at the moment, firstly for common decencies sake and secondly to ensure that there are no issues (or as little as possible) whilst any transition happens.
  7. Mentioned it a few times - this happens at a lot of Prem games, including at derbies like this with a lot of needle. We have massive massive overkill at our place - although was very pleased to see it go well yesterday and for it to be widely acknowledged how good the atmosphere was by Nige and Twentyman and Honor on Radio Bristol amongst others. Hopefully the club will start to get it.

My thoughts exactly. A complete and utter piss take!
  10. Where’s the tiny violin emoji when you need it for the vile Scouse ****.
  11. Apparently Ashley Down is their equivalent. Living in the area I really hope it gets built!
  12. It was a poor attempt at humour RR. Agree completely. Although it’s not being organised by anyone on OTIB afaik.
  13. Can’t believe you think there is one as it’s not been on the OS!
  14. I think it will be incremental. It’s rock bottom at the moment - the worst it’s ever been. Not sure if you were there on Sunday but the atmosphere was infinitely better with the block in full flow. Will just this change make AG a fortress? No. But it’s a start. And then we will need to focus on the next incremental change that will improve it further. And on and on. I think the times you mention people moaning previously are perfectly valid - they did - but it was at a position of strength in comparison to the diabolical state it is now. It has to start somewhere.
  15. When this was mooted a few days back i looked at the seats available just out of interest and there were hundreds. Barely any taken at all. But get the point. Hopefully it is respectful though of course and is carried out with a spirit of working together for the team who sure as heck could do with an improved atmosphere.
  16. Fair enough. Not sure Wolves or Palace or Bournemouth would do that though. They’d want him available - at least on the bench - immediately you would’ve thought. Spurs types possibly but not seen them genuinely linked recently.
  17. What happens in that situation Dave. Do we have to pay his new wages? Could be costly if so as I’d imagine he will get a very hefty uplift!
  18. Something that Grealish had when we saw him at AG playing for Notts County all those years ago. Not saying he will be as good - he mostl likely won’t - but he will be very very good.
  19. Majority of which will happen anyway is my point. But crack on!
  20. Handwritten tickets will be distributed as per Sunday
  21. Maybe but not sure why some people changing seats will make it any worse or better.
  22. I was presuming anyone moving / attending would have the correct ticket and my answer was more focused on your ‘club sanctioning’ items. I should’ve made that clear, apologies.
  23. Not being argumentative but why do fans need to ask the club where they sit? The club have done absolutely nothing to foster a good atmosphere so let the fans do it organically and as long as they aren’t hurting anyone there is no problem?
