Have we had one game with an attendance as low as that even though bar cup games? This site says 18,600 which sounds more like it tbh. https://fanbanter.co.uk/average-attendance-of-every-championship-club-for-the-2021-22-season-so-far/

Is 15046 our average attendance this season? That can’t be right surely? Or am I completely misreading it?

It’s circumstantial imho. Saturday in February with not a lot else on (especially in Ipswich I’d imagine), team going for the play offs, plentiful tickets against a localish rival also battling right up there. Last two seasons we were in the same division as Ipswich, our away support average was almost identical with us ‘winning’ one season and them the other. Yes they have better history but history is just that. I’d say we’re pretty comparable in a lot of ways (unfortunately including having that smarmy ***t in charge!) as clubs. Not that it matters one iota of course!!
  5. You’ve far more eloquently put what my quandary is with it!
  6. But surely it sets further precedents for other interested Parties?
  7. You are one very very very odd ‘person’. I’ll leave you to your weird hatred of Nige….enjoy.
  8. Why? Why do you think it’s ok to peddle this bullshit?
  9. As others have rightly said I have the utmost respect for your thoughts and I’m so so sorry for you and your family's loss Scottish Red. My sincere condolences to you and your family and take care. RIP Gabe
  10. He was featured on a documentary series called ‘Phenoms’ before Russia 2018 - essentially about young up and coming players to watch for. Other players featured included Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, Paulo Dybala, Ousman Dembele, Leon Gorretxa and Dele Alli - proper players. I always wondered a) why the hell he was on it in the first place and b) whether this appearance gave him some sort of further inflated sense of self importance - that he thought he was at that level. If he really was thought of in some quarters close to him as being at that level then it must be one hell of a comedown for him that’s for sure!
  11. Thank you bud. Just got 3 them!
  12. Palace and Cardiff City away 2001 for me. As days out both Play Off finals were fantastic as well but obviously the results weren’t quite as fantastic!
  13. Haha! Harsh but they are going to get it everywhere now I’d imagine! I think DCFC fans are delusional in thinking that every football fan wants them to stay up and get away with not paying their debts. Every comments board I see on social media / newspapers online is full of their fans laying the complete blame on the EFL and most are saying they deserve to stay up and pay however little as they possibly can. They don’t like it when it’s pointed out to them that whilst the vast majority of Championship / EFL fans don’t want to see them go bust, they do want to see them pay their debts in full even if that means them dropping a couple of divisions and working to embargoes / payment plans.
  14. Generally I’d say these were extremely knee jerk posters who didn’t / wouldn’t understand the plight of the club despite it being spelled out to them. With LJ most people gave him a fair crack I’d say (of course there were always the ones who hated the appointment from the start given his perceived past in some quarters) but after a couple of seasons of the bluff and bluster and the tombola, and the throwing players under the bus and lack of personal responsibility, people started to tire of him. Then the further it went on the more toxic it became. He should’ve gone well before he did and imho he was very lucky to get such a huge job as Sunderland, but he was never ever going to be afforded anywhere near the time he was here.
