  1. Do you understand what has gone on at City over the last year and across the wider football community? I’m guessing not.
  2. Drawing like we did tonight in stoppage time is an absolute gutter, sickening even, but we knew what was coming this year and the rebuild that is necessary after being completely shafted by the exploits of previous encumbants and the fact NP has had f all money. Games like tonight are unfortunately to be expected for the rest of the season. Would’ve lost it last season.
  3. Would've been great to have more information on roles and responsibilities but now MA is out and Gould is in I’m a lot less worried tbh.
  4. Villas win was at Villa Park I’m pretty sure.
  5. This 100% (apart from the drinking - can’t see that ever being allowed). We are such a soft touch these days it’s untrue - away fans get a whole end with no home supporters anywhere near them, placid ‘family fun Downsy’ who couldn’t whip up an egg let alone an atmosphere playing shite generic non-City songs, flags and banners banned for certain games by the owners for fear of upsetting the opposition, and a ‘singing section’ which with the best will in the world does nothing but confuse matters elsewhere in the ground and becomes unnecessarily an issue if said ‘singing section’ isn’t singing. All relatively easily solved I’d imagine but top of the tree is away fans being moved somehow so that we can see the whites of their eyes at least. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nige isn’t enquiring about changes that could help. Marginal gains etc.
  6. Hertha Berlin has been my favourite . Haven’t been to Union yet but the Olympic Stadium has an amazing atmosphere and great history surrounding it. Great architecture as well if that’s your thing. Easy to get to from Bristol and Berlin’s an incredible city.
  7. It’s ok. I had a brief listen of the report of the game and some Gas callers at the start of the show. That should provide all the material you need!
  8. He’s genuinely crackers isn’t he. That interview is comedy gold. Saying they are going to be ‘everyone’s cup final’. ‘Knows there is no doubt we will get promoted this season’. Absolutely delusional. Hilarious.
  9. Why would you have offended me? You spend a lot of time on here amd contribute to a lot of posts and have done over a lot of years which is fair enough, I find it very weird tbh but it’s a free country and message board (unlike your own board of course), so I just don’t believe you in all that time that you spend on here that any names of our players have not seeped in! No big deal and certainly not offended by it.
  10. You spend a hell of a lot of time on here as a Gashead, have been a member of this forum for 14 years and yet you can’t name any of our players past or present apart from Scottie Murray? Hmmmm ok then!
  11. The thought of either of them still being here makes me shudder.
  12. Complete and utter bullshit indeed. The cock man is a narcissist and so full of bull it’s unbelievable. Thank god he has gone as for a while I thought he was here forever such was the love in with the Owners.
  13. It’s the main reason I got a ST this year. The disparity between single ticket and ST price per ticket is nuts.
  14. Would’ve loved to have seen him and not sure what more he can do to get a go. Saving him for when we’re in the mire and the pressures really piled on no doubt!
  15. Very much so. I even think he may go if we lose this series tbh. Hopefully not a scenario that comes about though.
  16. Losing faith in Root and Silverwood at the moment. We’ve become so boring and stale. We’re going to get roasted this Winter - Stokes or no Stokes and wouldn’t be surprised if we lose this series as well. Hope I’m wrong.
  17. I know there is still 20 mins to go but the crowd looks pretty sparse at Sophia Gardens. Imagine if this was a true South West team playing at Taunton or Bristol - it would be packed. Makes me so cross still that we’re not represented as a region, but maybe if it doesn’t take off they’ll change the franchise to truly represent the SW?
  18. Sorry - are you now calling me a bully given you have taken on some weird obsession with my view on this? You seriously need to quit it if so as I take that kind of accusation very seriously. You have not been ‘bounced’ into anything. You have simply been asked by me as to what on earth you meant because you joined the debate and called out people (and me specifically for some weird reason) who want to stay safe and who want their families to stay safe and for the NHS to not be overwhelmed and for society to get back to as normal as possible as ‘obsessive’ and ‘fundamentalist’ which tbh is just weird behaviour, given that most sane human beings want the same thing I presume. But whatever floats your boat.
  19. That you deemed it ok to clarify normal behaviour as fundamentalist and obsessive - just wondering how you justify it but hey ho. Not my situation it’s an old school friend, but it brought the realities of covid to life in a very stark way as opposed to relying on ‘stats’.
  20. You have answered my point but no matter - used to that in this conversation. My old school mate was intubated and in a coma for nearly 8 weeks with very little hope of survival. He survived thank god but will feel the affects no doubt forever. He was 42 at the time. That’s all the ‘evidence’ I need to know on age ranges. You don’t want the vaccine then you crack on but to call people fundamentalists or even obsessives is pathetic tbh. It’s amazing what these conversations uncover.
  21. So you’re classing the vast majority of people in this country who are protecting themselves, their friends and families, the NHS etc as obsessives and fundamentalists? Ok then…
  22. And as a 19 year old (who you quoted earlier) you are treated as an adult - can go to war, marry, buy a house etc etc etc so you can make a choice to have a vaccine. My 21 year old sister in law has as have her pals - slightly older I know but still……..she’s not been blackmailed into it but chosen to have it to protect her and her family and her friends and fellow students etc…… Regards babies and children I would need to see what the official NHS and medical advice was and take it from there but if it’s safe for them to do so then yes of course. Likewise if it is deemed they shouldn’t have it or there is no need for them to have it then I will likewise respect that. Why?
  23. I could start up a new set of arguments here easily but tbh it’s been done to death and rightly you are allowed your opinion and we’ll just never agree. I do find your staunch position strange given you’ve been happy to have it yourself mind, but at least in that respect you are protecting yourself and your family, friends, NHS and fellow citizens so good on you for that. Have a good rest of your day.
