Oh there are strong links between the gas and Vale - the 1989 play offs spring to mind as high comedy!

Me and my mate were at home in my parents house listening to it on the radio....there was a BT engineer in our house looking at a fault with our phone line.

Anyway, when Sir Robbie Earle netted me and my mate went berserk and the BT guy came running into the lounge and asked 'have Rovers scored?'.....it was delightful to reply 'No, but Vale have!'

Here it is for comedy value....go to 3:47 secs if you can't be arsed to watch the lot...

Love it!  Bet they loved Robbie Earle.  Good to be reminded again about what a dump Twerton was as well. Looked like a park ground. Nigel Martyn was bloody good mind.

Some nice compliments towards the rovers fans again. Summed very nicely I thought.

Love this comment. Wonder if the author knew of the 'strong links' between Rovers and Port Vale after their recent trip there!

'Bristol rovers certainly seemed to have there fair share of more mongrels than other clubs, reminded me of port vale fans tbh'

See that Gaschat has now decided that 'the African steward' should be sent home.

    Violent racist that they are.

    Sure someone will screenshoot it.

He's also now said 'deport him and build a wall' ffs. They really are clueless, braindead twerps aren't they.

It's funny. I'd have bitten your hand off for a point before KO.

But there is something seriously wrong to keep doing what we are doing - capitulating from strong positions - and there seems to be zero sign of it coming to an end.

We have chopped and changed personnel and the problems persist. This is a deep rooted problem and I wish I knew what the answer was beyond a change of management because I really want LJ to succeed. But I don't know where else we go...?

We could have genuinely been any score up - 4-0, 5-0, 6-0 and we'd have all still been sat waiting for the vidi printer to confirm the inevitable.

Clearly the players are also in that mindset and if LJ cant change that mentality quickly then someone else needs to.

Yep. At 3pm this was a fantastic result. But the manner of the draw, to concede 3 whilst sitting back, yet again, taking off our front men who must've been causing them problems, and when to all and sundry it's blindingly obvious that we are so so poor at sitting back after doing it so badly previously, just sticks in the craw. If we can all see it then why can't he?

I suppported him vehemently up until the capitulation versus Cardiff but that for me was the final straw and it's happened yet again today. Like you I don't  know where/who we would turn to but I really feel that with the right person at the helm that this group of players could be easily top 10.

It's getting harder and harder to defend him.

Worrying for him when even his staunchest defenders are having doubts B86. Doesn't give anyone any joy. Really thought and hoped we were going to turn it around today and he was going to prove his doubters wrong (including me).  Sadly I think this is worse than a defeat now, mentally and morale wise.

What did savage and ince say?

Savage said something like 'losing 3-0 to BRISTOL CITY?!! (Said like we were something on the bottom of his shoe)  What are they, 5th from bottom?' Then started going on about then resting players in the midweek game and what a joke it was.

Ince was hilarious, he was like 'WHAT?! 3-0? Are you serious?!' Like he was in serious shock. And a few of the others started laughing!

I'm sure a couple of weeks ago Dopey said he needed to add to the squad as been too loyal to some players and some weren't up to league 1 standard.

Johnson said we needed a liftvand a couple of signings and we've got two in already, with I suspect a couple more today.

It seems the Blue Few are believing the comments that no value for money in January and will wait to the summer to add to the squad. It's also sad that the construction industry has halted due to BREXIT as demonstrated by Wally saying originally UWE on hold due to the vote.

They must start to realise he either doesn't have the wealth to support them or doesn't want to. Wally is out of his depth, his play thing for Christmas is costing him too much ! It's like an unwanted puppy on boxing day!

You definitely did hear that as I was about to post the same thing. Idle threats then. Idle being the operative word as far as their transfer policy is concerned!!
