  1. What an absolute pile of festering nonsense... Sheffield United ‏@SUFC_tweets 1m1 minute ago Leicester City win 5-4 on penalties to secure an extra point #twitterblades
  2. Sheffield United ‏@SUFC_tweets 9m9 minutes ago Both teams secure a point following a draw after 90 minutes. There will now be a penalty shoot out for an extra point #twitterblades
  3. Oh, I think the boycott has worked and a good thing too... 461 at Wimbledon 392 at Fleetwood 950 at Chesterfield These are paltry attendances and send out a strong message - hopefully the EFL will have a long, hard think before they further try to wreck the integrity of the pyramid. EDIT: Swansea's starting XI had squad numbers which added up to 340 more than the total attendance for their game at Wimbledon.
  4. For those who are still chewing their nails, the BBC website began the Hillsborough match report thus: "MK Dons' relegation was all but sealed..." Oh, and here's a useful analogy to our situation - Manchester City could still win the Prem if they win all of their games and Leicester lose all of theirs. Anybody see that as even a remote possibility? Staying up.
  5. Hugely disappointing and a lot of work needs to be done if we are to cut the mustard at this level long-term but MK Dons haven't a prayer of catching us now.
  6. Too early for Xmas Carols? Foo-King Useless last lost out on the Feast of Steven-age.
  7. BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year next month...
  8. Bernie Bresslaw as Rovers, because they're absolutely MASSIVE.
  9. Good point. once he's finished with Rovers, a move to Swindon would do very nicely. Then Cardiff and Plymouth.
  10. Boycott merely temporary. They'll be back (in their "tens of thousands", obviously) soon enough when Rovers go belly up and have to start from scratch in the Wessex League like Salisbury did this summer.
  11. Ben Cuthbertson I wonder who the CEO of Sainsburys supports? City? Wycombe?
  12. I wish their FB page would update with the result, I was going to give it a like, cheer 'em up a bit. Meantime, we'll have to do with this: Chris Kelly Believe gasheads. Believe that tomorrow truth and justice will be in our favour. In god we trust. Forever gas.
  13. Yes, I've trawled through it once or twice. Sturgeon did OK last night...
  14. I hope you are going to send pictures of you posing with your flapping, gasping catches to the Angling Times?
  15. I've never, ever seen the merit behind short corners. They almost never amount to anything. A corner kick is a free ball into the danger area. Flipping well use it. Anybody think short corners ever have a purpose? Only time I can think is when you're trying to waste time at the end of a game.
  16. Inevitable that we'd start turning in some nervy performances as we reached the business end of the season. Not City's way to hand us fans the title, gift-wrapped with a nice note saying "Sorry it's late, enjoy!" The buggers are going to make us work for it!
  17. Rubbish. Was as one-sided a final as you could wish to see. Third goal was incorrectly chalked off too.
  18. Nail on head, they all deserve massive kudos for accelerating away from the pack like this. Four away wins in a row since that crazy, hell-for-leather defeat at Colchester. Must confess I was really nervous about this one; local derby and Yeovil fighting for their lives (a fight that I think they'll likely lose) but the lads did a professional job. Nothing's a shoe-in yet but I'll tell you something: It's absolutely wonderful to be a Bristol City supporter right now.
  19. Not sure I would. Their play-off record, like ours, is...not the best. More than happy to let them try to make amends, though. Think we'll sit this one out!
  20. He's not your manager's real Dad; his biological father is from SW London.
