  1. Would Yorkshire shut up shop if they needed ( say ) 50 of 4 with 2 wickets left? Or would they still go for it?
  2. Best player?? You mean top goal scorer, big difference.
  3. I was just going through a few forums, I found this little beauty on a Newcastle forum Most teams in the early 80's in the second division had poor away support, in fact they had poor home support. Can remember us playing Bristol Rovers and I don't think there was 10 away fans. Can well remember going to see us play at Gay Meadow Shrewsbury and the official attandance was about 4,900 of which around 800 were from the mags.
  4. Crikey this is dire, as for the atmosphere
  5. Isnt it very strange that the new ground they told us they were about to build, ( a couple of years ago) looks just like their old one
  6. There singing that they are coming for us!
  7. They won't get into the Prem in my lifetime, and I'm 3 years old!
  8. I speak to plenty of non Bristolians, your never even get mentioned though, your ranked as a club with the same sort of appeal as a Shrewsbury or a Chesterfield ( apologies to those two clubs). Your just not on the radar, as for songs, singing and dreaming about some old woman isn't really something to try and boast about is it. Atmosphere wise, yours reminds me of Yeovil's, you can't compete with us on that either.
  9. Regarding Somerset, your spot on, certainly Bridgwater has a large City following. Unfortunately not as big as Man U and Liverpool though. Sometimes I wonder if I live in the north fn west!
  10. Agreed, as long as the away end holds 11k.
  11. I bet you wish YOU could have a building site
  12. Cheers, we struggled but scraped through in the end I'm glad you put that table up, I don't often manage to look that far down the league pyramid, you must be prowed being just above Accrington Stanley........
  13. My youngest lad is 16, other than the freight rover game ( or whatever it is now!) he's never seen a Bristol derby.
  14. They are deluded and clearly worried, they are also so concerned about what we think! It's hilarious The new owner is supposably in London trying to get financiers on board to help pay for their new ground.... why would he need help if he's super duper rich??? something doesn't add up, and they are beginning to get worried now!
  15. Slight change of subject from Sainsbury's, but has anyone else seen the new Rovers juvenile kit for next season?
  16. You could buy the bucket from Sainsbury's!
