  1. So the question is, how many of the outfield players were really poor on the day, and would it be acceptable if the officials tried to attack them because of their poor performance! What the BMF manager did is 100% unacceptable, regardless of whether anyone thought the referee didn’t have a good game. Referees are quitting in massive numbers, I was told that nearly 50% of Hampshire’s referees have quit over the last 2 years. In Somerset there is a big shortage of referees, especially at youth level. Young lads who referee youth games are quitting because of the abuse they get, mainly from parents. Grown men threatening teenage referees, it’s sheer madness. At the moment the semi pro leagues aren’t effected, but with no referees coming along behind the current ones, It could well be that these leagues will be short of officials in time. Who in there right mind wants to put up with this sort of behaviour and the general 90 minutes of abuse every week. No ref, no game. The game needs to wake up, because the way things are going it’s going to happen sooner than a lot of people think.
  2. Yes, two years ago a new law came in, basically if there is abuse from the dugout that would constitute a yellow or red card, and no one owns up to it ( if the actual person wasn’t originally identified). Then the senior official in the dugout ( the manager) gets given the punishment. For him to actually say he didn’t know this, is either total horlicks, or, what other laws of the game does he not understand!.
  3. This is just a short clip, but as you say there was at least one hour long documentary shown on tv. It may well have been more than one episode.
  4. You play bowls, clearly you don’t like ‘any’ excitement in your life ?
  5. I could not believe Martin didn’t shoot when he had the chance, unbelievable.
  6. I know for fact that KP has an ongoing injury issue. I can’t say anymore than that really, but it’s true.
  7. I want to go to Seville, not to watch them though, I want to watch Real Betis. Betis are the fourth best supported team in Spain. They have 50 thousand season ticket holders and thousands on a waiting list. only the two Madrid’s and Barca have better support. Sevilla and Betis in the same city has been likened to having Sunderland and Newcastle in the same city, real fervent support.
  8. The last 40 games gives you the answer, the majority of them.
  9. We are reaping what he sowed though. A leaderless bunch of soft footballers.
  10. Also Charlton have just conceded in the last minute!
  11. Well, streaky is certainly doing his best to possibly not even get in the play offs now ?
  12. Clubs like Leicester who broke ffp rules to get promoted to the Prem?.
  13. Isn’t there a Lee Johnson forum you can post on ?
  14. That was last season’s final that wasn’t played because of Covid.
  15. Bet he measures the height, and see’s how many box entries it’s had.
  16. Didn’t 9 of them start against Reading!?
  17. So your satisfied that this lot won the first 4 games, but not concerned this lot have lost the last 6-7 games. Your not in the least concerned that this lot can’t even win a corner now?
  18. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that after the Matty Taylor transfer, they said that no deals would be done between them and us?
  19. “Allowed”, or very good management to sign players that fitted into his plans, the plans of how he wanted us to play. The complete opposite of the manager who came in afterwards, who had no plan whatsoever.
  20. Potentially, or potentially not. Strange how SL’s cheque book was found after he sacked SC wasn’t it. SC gave us fans the best season in decades, he deserved some loyalty from the owner imo.
  21. You only have to look at Leeds to see what a top coach can do to improve players.
