  1. Three words:

    summer page filler

The EP has to find something to write about during the off season so we can expect every rumour to get a full page write-up.

Yes I take your point. However the club seem to have a decent relationship with Stockhuesen and he wouldn't write a story like that without some sort of foundation.

  2. For the first time this century, I agree with some of what Aizoon says.

We ALWAYS score 3, so it is just a case of how leaky the back 3 / 5 is.

    Possible scores, therefor are:-

    3-0

    3-1

    3-2

    Can't see them getting 3 ..............

    TFR

P.S. Aizoon, have you checked Horaces temperature today?

Horace isn't well!...Thoughts are with you Horace! Get well soon my spikey friend!!

  3. It doesn't matter that you're a winner SC....Are your players!?

It does not matter if they are not your choices, it matters that you do the job you were employed to do....Keep Us Up!

Can you and Can they do it!???....And will they bother showing up next Saturday....about 3000 season ticket holders wont!

I remember 82 very well. The only time I felt worse than this was the day we thought it was all over only to be saved at the 11th hour, the rest of it you took because it was the way back....But this is as bad a feeling as I've had since then...

Osbourne skinned at FB while Maloney sits on the bench El Abd is poor Osbourne needs to partner Flint...Why cant you see the wood for the trees....?

  4. #BristolCity v Carlisle: Moore; El-Abd, Flint, Williams; Wagstaff, Reid, Pack, W.Elliott, Cunningham; Emmanuel-Thomas, Baldock.

#BristolCity subs: Fielding, Moloney, Bryan, M.Elliott, Gillett, Barnett, Burns.

    Bristol City FC ?@bcfctweets

Steve Cotterill says #BristolCity never tried to sign anyone on deadline day.

SC: "There was one in our minds who was different to what we've already got, and we had bid for him earlier in the window..."

SC: "However, the price the club was asking for wasn't right. The Board would probably have allowed it, but I didn't feel it fair."

Anyone with a clue who SC is talking about?

  5. Amazing that there's a thread slagging off Baldock, and nothing about how utterly useless JET was. We may as well have played with 10 men until Burns and Barnett came on.

Perhaps if every other game SB didn't have to do the work of two people he'd get more. He worked his socks off in the second half, and Barnett did more in 30 seconds than JET did today.

Baldock clearly lacks a bit of confidence in the one on one situation, but he still got two goals which salvaged us a point today. I couldn't believe the two chumps behind me who booed him off at half time. Embarassing.

Funny how Baldock is lamented for his lack of putting chances away, and what's he on now? 15 or something? Well on course for 20+.

If we didn't concede so many, we'd be top half. The goals we conceded today were so soft, and that's why we dropped 2 points today.

A lot of sympathy for the above.

  6. Sound very petulant.

I've no problem with Steve, however his son is a idiot with zero business Expereince and is running the club into the ground.

The longer he leaves his son in control, the worse the situation will get I feel.

Time for the Lansdown's to write off the financial damage they have done to the club and let someone else take control.

Someone in mind or waiting in the wings that you know of?....I heard there was an Arab in the stand today!

  7. A really good interview with the major shareholder this afternoon!

I'm sure there will be a link put up soon, however the main points!

Bristol City costs a huge amount of money, SL makes up the shortfall

He does get upset about some of the (undue) criticism

He has felt like walking away at times, but will not as he is commited to Bristol City FC and the new stadium

AG redevelopment is most likely but AV not ruled out

Bristol Rugby will be played at AG/AV

Money is available to SC and he will back his manager

Invited people to come down to speak with the club if they have a genuine concern rather than post faceless comments on this and other internet forums

Bloke sounded very passionate and intent on shutting a few people up! Hope it Works!
