It would be great now if fans could come along to the gate in their thousands and support and enjoy the rest of season now the pressure is off , I’d also like to see the players enjoy it and play with a smile on their faces and interact with the fans more , come on let’s all enjoy it and get behind the lads

What pressure was ever on them? It’s been the most boring season for a long time

    and that’s saying something

A couple of games aside I really don't agree with this.

I have been more entertained at Ashton gate under Manning than I ever was under the last couple of years under Lee Johnson, all of Dean Holden and a large part of Nigel Pearson's time with us.

That’s nothing to brag about. The football under all four has been ******* awful

Firstly, thought Bournemouth was a strange move for him but they have shown great quality this season. Them and Wolves are the two shock performers in the premier league for me this season.

On to Scott himself. Great to see him make his England U21 debut last week but in terms of the premier league, he does seem to be struggling to make an impact. No doubt early season injuries have played a part, but I thought his transition to the premier would be pretty smooth ability wise. However, fit he either seems to start on the bench or if he does start, gets pulled off relatively early. Again tonight he was take off at half time.

Hopefully he will finish this season well and kick on next season. Looking forward to seeing what our former star boy can do.

Really big talent but don’t underestimate just how big a jump it is from Championship to consistently performing in the Prem

He was by no means the finished article at City - drifted in and out games - and some people saying he could make the England set up at the time of the move were clearly getting ahead of themselves

Next season will be a big one for him

Back to back wins 99.9999% guarantees we will be in the Championship next year. Winning all our games would see us fall just short and losing them all would see us just about safe - and of course we’ll do something in between anyway. SO.

For the last 6, would you like to see us prioritise results above all else and finish as high as possible? Could make the club an easier sell to prospective signings and I think there’s a small financial incentive to finishing higher. Also develops player relationships and lets Liam get his messages across further.

Or would you like us to try things out that could help us next season. Blood Knight-Lebel and others, have a proper look at Mebude, maybe try some alternative formations.

Not sure which way I’d go so thought I’d open it up to discussion. Regardless, well in City, proper bank holiday weekend that!

Got to play the strongest teams to try to win all 6

Lots of people who have said they may not renew season tickets next year could be swayed by how positively we finish the season

And now you know the kind of reason why Phil Alexander couldn’t do what he was brought in to do.

Fever Pitch is Jon’s “train set”, all safely bubble-wrapped by Bristol Sport.

I am starting to get really sickened by “them”!

So you buying two shirts or three?

Had the text message and they can shove it up there arse until the Lansdowns get out of town.
Desperate times on ST sales no doubt.

I have had lots of emails and text messages - I can’t remember ever having them this frequently before

Something says to me the early bird sales are not where the club want them to be

The one SL has always allegedly admired, time for a change from Coventry this summer apparently. Let’s show some ambition and go for a proven leader at this level, Manning should be sacked now and King take charge to end of season leaving time for an ambitious appointment. Wouldn’t that be lovely if something like this to happen in BS3! Current situation is not healthy for the club.

Fair play mate. Those drugs must be great….

Turning 40 last year really put into perspective just how little City has given me over the years. Four decades of bouncing between the second and third tiers for a club our size is just so depressing. One notable cup run.

I look at fans of other clubs and I’m jealous of the journeys they have been on. Swansea made their way through the leagues and played in Europe. Luton have made it all the way from lowly divisions. Huddersfield, Blackpool, Barnsley, Bournemouth and even Swindon have tasted top flight football. Bradford, Portsmouth and Cardiff have all made it to a cup final. Some of these clubs have suffered since, but at least they’ve had genuinely exciting periods.

I actually think we must be one of the dullest clubs to support in the entire league. I think you could reasonably say that City fans of my generation have seen the least achievement against potential and expectation of ANY set of fans in the entire country. I’m really fed up with it!

Is there any club out there more dull than us when you consider size and potential?

We are the reincarnated version of Ipswich under Mick McCarthy

Manning is going nowhere. Sacking Manning would be the Lansdowns admitting they got it wrong - which they will never admit. We all have to “put up and shut up.”

Don’t bet on it. Heard last night that there is massive concern from above and they are not as oblivious to the problems like we thought they were. If things don’t improve over the Easter period (or god forbid get worse) - I think he will be gone by the end of the season

I think we will just about stay up but the only games i feel we will get points from are Huddersfield and Rotherham at home and they will both be fighting for there lives and we'll probably be in deckchair mode by then

Nah we will be fine this year. The last two weekends has seen a hell of a lot go in our favour - there are teams below us who are in even worse shape then us

I really hope this is the year Birmingham go - would be hilarious

Nobody does, it just a trigger to talk about what we think might be going on.

Hierarchy and what is happening on the pitch.  I imagine hierarchy above Tinnion, ie Board / Owner.

I’ve heard the same - if what I have heard today is right, I  think he will be gone before the end of the season

He’s either hopelessly out of his depth or he’s just not cut out to be a football manager at this level.

He won’t see out the season

Came into a Lansdown inspired shit-show, as they waxed lyrical about our top 6 squad and results here and now. The most poisonous poisoned chalice. My first real assessment of him will come around November time after he’s had a summer and a few months of 24/25. If we’re looking rubbish, change it then.

I wouldn’t trust him with a penny. He hasn’t improved one player since he has been here - every player has regressed
