I’ve been a season ticket holder for 24 years. Supported the club since age of 5 . First season was 76/77 (glory hunter)
I’ve done the blindly following no matter what , especially under the LJ years. It’s an age thing definitely as my favourite era was under TC . However im bored with it all under the lansdowns now . I’ve missed more games this season than ever before & look for reasons not to go now .
So , my question is .
Are you going today because it’s what you do.same as me , bored with it
still as enthusiastic as ever .
Theres no right or wrong , it’s how you feel . I’ll go to the Leicester game because a few of us are out after the game . Apart from that I’m done this season .
I really do hope we win today to take pressure off
Not been to a home game since New Year’s Day
Not missed it at all and in no rush to go back

Listening to Luke Williams is much more inspiring. His press conference is night and day to Mannings. Talking about players putting their bodies on the line and dying for the badge etc. He gets what fans want and demand.
Yet they are doing just as shite as us

Wanting a new manager/head coach when the current guy has only had 4 months or so, is knee-jerk in my opinion.
I want to see how Manning's City get on in the first half of next season. He'll have had a pre-season, new players and all this experience to draw on.
I don't think many managers would have got us anywhere near top 6 with this squad and our constant injury merry-go-round, that includes our Nige.
Not many championship standard coaches would have had us heading towards a relegation scrap either
He has been a disastrous appointment and is so far out of his depth it’s laughable

Not sure?
Rotherham lost, QPR lost, Birmingham lost, Sheff Wed lost, Plymouth & Blackburn played each other & neither of them won.
Stoke aside I struggle to know how that could have gone better if we’d been allowed to pick the scores.
Agree 100%. Really good day. The overall reality is we got 10 games left and I think we need 3 wins
If we can’t get 3 wins in the last 10 - we deserve to go down

Yep.
He’s absolutely mint on Robins TV at pointing out where his team mates are going wrong, though.
If I was Rob Dickie or Zak Vyner I’d ask him if he ever fancies stepping on the pitch again to show them.
I mean they’ve only slogged through about 35 games each whilst he’s shown up for about 10.
Glad someone has highlighted it. This bloke has literally stole a living since he come in through the door yet will sit on Robins TV and dig people out

Agree with this.. after the Swansea game the next 4 matches are really tough. Lose on Sunday and it could be 9 on the trot
To think we could go into Sundays game only 3 points away from the relegation zone is absolutely hilarious.
How Tinnion and Manning still have a job is anyone’s guess

But it's an atypical performance. Our best performances tend to be in this type of game where we're almost on a hiding to nothing. The typical performance and set up is not what was seen tonight for much of the game from what I hear (was out for a birthday meal, so only saw the last 20). I'm basing my views on his tenure rather than one match I didn't really see. From what I did see, however, he once again showed a massive naivety in terms of game management. Cam didn't look fit and was being torn apart by Burns. We had two throw-ins about 10 yards inside their half in injury time when we should be full throttle trying to salvage something and within seconds it's down by our touchline.
Manning actually said in the pre-match interview that he was carrying a knock
Why he didn’t make the change when Burns come on and tore Pring a new one - I just don’t know

Did not look happy when he entered the pitch. Not a smile when he scored a brilliant goal, from a brilliant cross. I wonder why.
Not sure what he has to be unhappy about. Being paid a decent wage to play football - and not very well lately I may add

I still say get rid of BT bring back NP to oversee the managing of the 1st team and keep manning as a coach
Yeah because they would all smile and be happy to do that

This is really true, a lot of their players individually with the best will in the world have no wonderful pedigree or even history.
Sure the younger they are the more scope to develop, the older the more bits of experience they can give but are a lot them are far from standout. Isn't it a 1 in a 100 type sesson they're having, McKenna aside.
Relative to the Parachute gap, sides who came down and alright but not stellar for the level players.
Ipswich are having a phenomenal season - but - I think they will need to go up this year. If they don’t and their coach gets poached, I fancy them to drop off next year

despite being beaten you should be proud of your team tonight for making us work for that victory. City came within 10 minutes of taking three points from a long trip from one side of the country to the other against the division's form team and 6 wins in succession before your visit. In fairness we do concede more than we should but it's compensated by an efficient strike rate and goals from just about all areas of the team. All the same there's never any divine right to victory and you made it tough for us but obviously delighted to win it and move closer to a return to the top level for first time since 2002. (Yes, it's really been that long)
There's no guarantee we'll make it though, Leeds and LCFC both won tonight too which is a shame but at least it's competitive up there if nothing else. Nearly a full capacity at Portman Road for a midweek game, something that just wouldn't have happened only a few years back with a different manager or set of players. Take this opportunity to applaud all and any Robins fans who made the long trip over from the West for this evening game. Yes you're obviously disappointed with the score but showed glimpses tonight that there could be something left in the season if you put the same initiative and determination into future games you displayed here and with us.
check out Real Madrid mind . We should absolutely not be proud for making a team in the same league as us “work for a win”
get over yourself you bellends

Talking to a couple of Ipswich fans in the hotel bar this evening.
Just some context, in terms of their judgement: we asked what they thought of Mark Ashton: “t w a t”.
Then, can we have Wes Burns back. “Only if we can have Liam Manning back when McKenna gets poached”
Really? Yes: “you’ve got a top coach, one of the best……give him til this time next season and you’ll be glad you did…….best organised side here this season”
Just saying.
Sacked by MK Dons in League 1
Wasn’t at Oxford anywhere near long enough to make a real judgement call
lost 10 in his first 21 here
They are basing their assumptions on what exactly?
He has come here with a very similar pedigree to Lee Johnson and look how that turned out .

I am swinging towards the “perhaps I don’t know what I had until it’s gone” position when I comes to Pearson

Agreed.
All eras come to an end, it feels like the SL one has ended in trajectory if not reality.
We need some fresh impetus (IMO). Energy, new ideas and enthusiasm.
Problem is they only want to sell the lot - and no one really gives a shit about the rugby, women’s team, basketball etc

Fair I’m still behind Manning personally but that’s your opinion
Played 21
won 6, drew 5, lost 10
relegation form with no sign of improvement
Just let that sink in pal

The team was the same team that got in front, the players shat themselves on Sky. That’s how I see it, I don’t see how that’s on Manning unless you think he told them to start making terrible decisions
Our failure to manage the last 15 happened numerous times under Pearson even this season. Why haven’t you mentioned him in this when you have slated both Johnson and Manning for going that?
Are you seriously suggesting I didn’t criticise Pearson?
You clearly don’t know me
