They haven’t even broke a sweat yet.
Men v Boys

Didn’t realise we’ve only won 4 in 14 Championship games since Manning took over
Top 6 club in waiting

Sky interviewer to Liam Manning - a massive task tonight- etc , .. ..so disrespectful we're at home against another championship club, a league where anyone can beat anyone , to listen to Sky it's like we're L2 v Man City in the cup.
TBH after listening to Sky if we can keep the score below 6-0 I'm going to bed happy!
To be fair - it is a massive task . Look at their squad compared to ours

Interesting and out of the blue. Will give us something different for sure.
What will he give us?
I personally think you haven’t got a clue

Slightly related… just reading about the lad who scored for Leeds yesterday had a message for his mum, who had passed away earlier in the week, under his shirt and was booked for showing it when celebrating.
Is there no room for compassion in the game???
Absolutely ridiculous. That’s the problem with referees now - they are not trusted to use a bit of common sense.
“rules are rules” - its absolute nonsense. Yes - rules are there for a reason, but there has to be the opportunity for referees to take a common sense approach
Had he not booked him - no one would even have mentioned it
Like the Liverpool / Spurs goal. Play should have been pulled back - but because it was “too late”. They didn’t

2- Millwall away in 2019 & Stoke home (Benik Afobe took it) in 2022.
I’ll be amazed if the game lasts 120 minutes though.
They will be far too strong for us at home. Fancy us to make a fist of it, but think we will lose 3-1

Felt some discomfort in his Quad and was rested was what I was told. A long way from the scare stories that were on here and elsewhere.
If there was anything more to it I think he wouldn't be anywhere near the grass. This current medical team seem very cautious in their approach.
Having a scan early next week apparently

Well played, every man jack of you. Proud of the lot of you tonight, coaches included. Completely dominant, modern and progressive. Front foot football !
I get the sentiment - but we didn’t have a shot on target
Bit OTT I say

A result none of us wanted really. Could really have done without a replay

Four very tough games in a short period of time. If we can come out of these still within 6 points of the playoffs that would be a great platform to maybe make a late charge. We lose them all and then it's another season of mediocrity confirmed. The optimist in me says that 5 points out of this lot would be a good outcome but it will be a very tough ask; especially the next two.
If we don’t get 15 points here ….Manning out

He would have a say whether that be playing contract or coaching. Not saying he’s the sole or driving decision maker, nor insinuating in any way LM is saying “I want all trace of Nige gone”.
But there is the intangible - as others have mentioned - PL / Promo experience, standards setter, father figure , etc, that I feel is worth keeping around.
Alleged to be a very lower earner…low wage, appearance based contract.
Yes, heard same rumours. But I think there’s a process to go through first.
I’m not surprised at James. And if I’m honest - I’m not overly shocked about Williams.
Will be interesting to see if anything changes though if Williams stays fit for the remainder of the season

Well that’s a real bummer. In my heart of hearts, I’d hoped LM would keep him around. His exoerience, guidance of young players will be a big loss.
If this bums you out wait to you hear the news that - as it stands - they won’t be offering contracts to James or Williams

You just know the season you don’t renew is the season we will go up
Only said this the other day
Next season will be the first year I’ve not had a season ticket in 27 years . You watch them win the league

Obviously he's not 100% fit but I agree he doesn't look like a natural wing back or wide player, more of a full back
He would probably look more comfortable in centre midfield rather then right midfield
right decision to bring him off

Horrendous cross Ross!
We do look like we want to move the ball with a bit of intensity wheb we win it, which is a very positive sign compared to previous home games. Game is finely balanced
Can’t say I’ve been overly impressed with him so far. Not sure why we are playing him in such a forward role

Agree with this. James, Williams and McCrorie just feel far to defensive
As I said - feels like a really attacking team
get in!

Still don’t see where the goals and creativity come from, and I don’t think taking out Mehmeti and TGH at home really help with that.

Really really poor from us

You’ve chosen a season ticket in the most expensive part of the ground, then complain when you are charged the highest price for a cup game - which still isn’t extortionate by any means.
Are you ever happy about anything?
Absolutely. I’m happy I get to watch it at home in the warm
I wasn’t moaning about it the price anyway.
