We are such a frustrating team. QPR are poor and we've more than matched that crap level.
Two very even teams really. They may be poor but let’s not kid ourselves - we are not much better then them

Mid-table team doing mid-table things
We are what we are everyone. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone

I knew Paul. Worked with him for years but he left the company we worked for due to poor health about 3 years ago. Passed away after attending the West Ham match
Was his funeral yesterday, and the wake was at Ashton Gate after

Is the Play-off final on the Saturday or Monday this year?
Want to make sure I book it off

Not a bad first half at all. Got to do better in the final third
First 10 minutes will be important now. We always seem vulnerable after the break

A huge sense of disappointment, frustration and anger about the second half performance.
No problem with a half-time sub (assume Cornick a knock), but why the change in shape from the first half where we controlled so much of the 45 mins?
They played through us, around us, behind us. We had no answer. CB spacing went to pot as they slid in their forwards.
To end, well done though, three points, winless run over, a big boost after a tough set of fixtures.
And chilllllllllll.
Some people just like to moan….

That's not as daft as it sounds is it when you think about it worth a try at least, the people who really love the club probably would renew anyway and it might tempt a few into giving us a try.
It would be a great idea if you support a club who had genuine ambitions of getting top 6. Reality is - by January most years our season is over. Lots would go for the first half season ticket but not renew for the second part
The tossers at the top are happy to regurgitate the same bullshit each year about how we want to push for the top 6 - when the reality is, they haven’t got a clue how to do it

Sounds like tonight the biggest issue we had was scoring despite numerous good chances.
Goes to show again that we had to bring someone in last month and failed to do us. Will most likely cost us more than once between now and the end of the season.
Edit: was there a reason Mebude wasn’t involved tonight?
We should have gone and got Kieffer Moore
The fact we went and signed no one is absolutely Bristol City to a tee

I’m not being OTT in saying that Wells miss might be the worst I’ve ever seen in a city game.
Almost a bit relieved it happened to him and not Cornick.
Didn’t Cornick miss one very similar last season?

Weak penalty by a weak player
Ah well. We can concentrate on the league and aiming for 12th place now

I wasn't NP's biggest fan as many on here know and i posted many posts regarding some of the awful football we had to put up with though i do get that he sort of steadied the ship, i shed no tears when he was sacked and felt that 2 and a half years was long enough, this new guy deserves a chance, he's inherited this team so lets see what he's like when he has his own players and his way of playing is bedded in.
In regards to you thinking that Manning is dull, boring, and comes across emotionless" it doesn't seem to have done Southampton and Ipswich any harm having similar managers with the the same temperament, give the guy a chance
To be fair - point taken. My frustrations are more at the ***** at the top and their complete incompetence.
Best of luck to Manning - seems a likeable guy and I hope he turns out to be the coach the club thinks he could be. I just don’t see it, and I don’t think a lot of people can either
People are voting with their feet and attendances will only continue to drop. Be interesting to see what the season ticket sales will be like next season

Yeah it’s a fair point. At the end of the day though- all matters is the results. And at the minute, it’s just not happening

Surprising you've turned on Manning so quickly considering how keen you were to get NP sacked
There seems to be this belief people are in the ‘Manning camp’ or the ‘Pearson camp’
Pearson’s time was up. It was time for a change
Manning was not the answer. He shouldn’t have even been on the short list
Not hard to understand mate

Beat Forest Wednesday.
Sykes & Twine comes back.
The new winger looks a world beater.
We win 2 on the bounce
Can’t wait for everyone to then come back on here and say we are negative , crap football etc..
I have been watching for 45 years and we are in the ‘good years’.
Give Liam a chance it feels like we are building something.
The growing attendance and away followings say it can’t all be bad.
If we maybe 3 quality players to the squad in the summer which is already competitive then we have a chance of a top 6
Fair play I wish I had some of the drugs you take

That was utter crap. Manning can take full responsibility for it!
If he gets hammered for it GOOD!
A performance like that is not justifiable under any circumstances!
In any walk of life - a teams performance will normal mirror the behaviours of the leader of that group
Manning is dull, boring, and comes across emotionless
…..it’s no suprise the players are now the same

I apologise if I’m going over a topic which has been discussed before but it struck me how last night’s “sold out” home game was far from it. There seems to be a big issue with no-shows.
What is driving this issue? Of course not all STHs can make every game. I heard a theory last night that people bought an under 12s ST just to get a free shirt and/or to give themselves more space.
What could the club do to combat this? Perhaps creating a proper resale platform? Or some kind of enforcement if a season ticket is a no-show for say 3/4 home games in a row.
Seems like the club are missing out on an easy win with a resale platform which would generate more ticket and food/drink revenue. This a joke right?

Away games are OK but Ashton Gate is a boring place these days and the lack of atmosphere makes me feel very uneasy. Don't mind going for the women as its laid back and casual with so few people there.
I was just waiting for Leeds to score a second so I could turn the TV off and go to bed, it was absolutely miserable last night. The Leeds fan on here said our football is disjointed, a very good word to describe the turgid nonsense we produce game after game particularly at home
Think I’ve managed two games since Manning came in. Sunderland and Millwall . Watch the games online now in the comfort of my own home
I have zero interest in going down anymore and certainly won’t be renewing my season ticket next year. I’ve had a season ticket best part of 28 years and can’t believe how bitter I am towards the club. Almost to the point I find the latest debacle that those idiots at the top have created hilarious
Every single one of them is out of their depth - from the coaches , to the manager - to that weasel Tinnion and the two at the very top - Bert and Ernie Lansdown

If you are going to change Pearson go with someone proven. Mowbray would have been a better bet. Manning has no X factor, it’s another Holden approach.
Absolutely . Manning was a ridiculous appointment . Has done absolutely nothing to warrant the opportunity to manage at this level
As I’ve said before - the ***** at the top of this club are getting exactly what they deserve. Jon Clownsdown and that Weasel Tinnion - both miles out of their depth

We are simply a bog standard average team in this league. QPR should (I emphasise the word should) - be a little higher then they are
There isn’t a lot of difference between us and them
