  1. Interested to know your thoughts currently on Pearson Dave I’ve been very vocal around Pearson, however this is the first time in his tenure where I feel he is losing the dressing room, and control of the team. Even the senior players seem mythed …. Weimann yesterday summed it up for me. I can remember when we were coming to the end of the Millen and O’Driscoll era and it’s all feeling all to familiar
  2. People often scoff at the offers made for Andre Gray as unrealistic - however I’d hazard a guess investing £9m at the time on a striker like Gray, would have been far more beneficial then the money wasted with Little Lee over the next few years
  3. Christ. I personally think Dave comes across as one of the best, most informative, laid back posters on here plus he is right to agree with CR
  4. Agree with all of this We are not far off from heading into free fall and there is no reason why we should be. We may not have a top 6 squad but I refuse to believe man for man, we have a poorer squad then those you mentioned It’s 7.30am the day after and I’m still trying to work out why Andy King played Centre half again, and why last seasons top scorer played right back most of the game . People are frightened to death to lose Pearson because even I have to admit, I have no idea who comes in behind him to save us. He is quite clearly in control of a lot more than the first team squad as the absolute jokers above him do not have a clue . There are huge comparisons to this situation and the one we found ourselves in 10 years ago. We look absolutely terrible. I genuinely don’t see us getting out of this mess at this moment in time
  5. It was also dire when things were not going well. We create a good atmosphere at this stadium but everyone has had the life sucked out of them by this current set up
  6. West Brom. Absolute shambles up there about 2 months ago Amazing what sacking an out of date coach does doesn’t it
  7. Our defence is an embarrassment Pearson will no doubt give an ‘honest’ assessment though and everyone will lap it up and tell us we are lucky to have him Jokers
  8. ******* hell. And they say I chat shit mind….
  9. It clearly doesn’t . It’s become very clear that Pearson and his style of management is passed its use by date. It’s why we don’t see the likes of Allardyce and Pardew getting jobs anymore, and why the likes of Bruce and Hughes will soon become completely unemployable to. Football has evolved so much over the last 5-10 years I am Genuinely concerned that we are going to go down this year. With Richard Gould leaving soon, this rudderless ship has absolutely no one steering it. And i’m sure I’ll get jumped on by a few on here - but what’s making things even more uncomfortable are those scum bags are starting to gain a bit of momentum at the right time. The thought of being in the same league as those ***** is bad enough ….the thought of swapping places make me feel sick
  10. There has clearly been a falling out with Atkinson. Which is yet another one to add to the list after Kalas last season, and quite clearly Massengo and Bentley this year At least the former two you have adequate replacements to play in the positions. Playing Andy King regularly ar centre back when you have other options is nothing more then poor management. He is putting is own ego in front of what is best for the team. It’s unacceptable I’m genuinely worried that we are going to go down this year under this guys stewardship. Couple this with the complete lack of leadership from above we are in a right mess
  11. His latest comments around King playing centre half, and not trusting Atkinson - I hope is the final nail in his coffin Absolute car crash of an interview
  12. And when results don’t go our way because of these selections - the buck should stop with the manager This club is ******
  13. No it isn’t all that relevant, however this is a forum….a place for opinions and thoughts to be discussed As for who I would want. I genuinely don’t know, but as I mentioned before - I would happily give someone a go now who is young and fresh in the game. We’ve seen both QPR and Preston take a punt with someone younger and ambitious I was over the moon with Pearson, however he is very much a yesterday manager. We have not progressed one bit. I’d argue that the only areas we have progressed is down to the unbelievable work Tinnion and the academy coaches are doing
  14. I’ll just go check my ‘potential new owners directory’ and get back to you pal …
  15. I just can’t believe the easy ride he is given. Maybe it’s just the way of the world now. We see people in power in all sorts of industries at present getting away with doing an absolutely terrible job - yet people just respond with a ‘meh’
  16. 100%. This club has needed new owners for some time
  17. Why would getting rid of Pearson and getting a new manager cost £50m? How much COULD It cost this club if we carry on in the same vein? We have some tidy players here. We certainly shouldnt be talking about relegation. We need a coach who can first and foremost set us up to be hard to break down. We regularly gift two goals a game We have changed personell at the back over the 18-24 months he is been here and it’s the same issues this week as it was last week, the week before, 6 months ago etc etc When do we start looking at the one common factor in all of this?
  18. I would rather take a punt on a newbie like QPR and Ipswich have done / did. Almost 2 years in charge and we are still just as vulnerable at the back as we’re when he joined. And that’s regardless of the change in playing personnel
  19. All joking aside and I know I play up a bit on here, but seriously - you cannot honestly think this is the best we should be hoping for? You don’t honestly think there arnt managers out there who could get a better tune out of these players?
  20. As I’ve said before, I can throw around suggestions but that isn’t my job. Surely you don’t truely believe this is the best this squad of players can do!? I cannot believe people still believe the current performance and form over the last 6-12 months is acceptable.
  21. Yeah after our awesome win over the League powerhouse that is Rotherham ?
  22. Nope. Not until he gets the bullet . The bloke is way past his best before date There is absolutely no excuses for today
  23. As was starting Andy King at centre back it’s ok though. He will give a really honest assessment later. Lucky to have him
