I’d drop Atkinson for sure. I just don’t like him. May be an unpopular opinion but he just appears so slow Klose and Kalas walk back into this team

Agree with Bamba and a high line, however if we haven’t got the players to play the high line…it’s the managers job to put a system in place that can work even if it’s just a temporary measure until certain players come back from injury We will continue to get dicked if we persist with King at the back. He isn’t good enough for this level in his natural position ….let alone in a position that he isn’t comfortable in

Strange fans we got man. Pearson’s record speaks for itself yet fans still show him an insane amount of loyalty. I will be honest I have no idea how we have played today as I never bothered listening or watching as I knew the minute Andy King was selected for centre back, the game was lost. Our defence has been abysmal for far to long, so today was only ever going to go one way Today is not the day for a knee jerk reaction but at some point, the situation has to be looked at. Almost 2 years now and we have seen marginal improvement overall however I’d argue our defending is worse than ever . Different personnel in defence means you have to point at the management and coaching of the players

I wouldn’t say they have worked us out. Our defence is quite simply not good enough . We concede 2-3 goals every game. Our best defender lately has been Vyner and with the greatest respect to the lad, he isn’t great at this level. Atkinson is one of the slowest centre halves I’ve seen at the Gate in years, Naismith is an absolute liability ….and Kalas and Klose have both been injured Andy King in defence today aswell. Jesus wept

Sadly we were always in a false position . As were a fair few teams as it was early days We are a bottom half team with bottom half players. We have some exciting young lads coming through but our senior players really are poor
