OK a little bit from me (for what my opinions worth)
Two pretty awful teams first half. Birmingham look stronger though for sure, they just don't have much in the final third. If they click. ..they will score, as we look very suspect at the back.
Going forward we have offered nothing. I have no idea what Patterson brings to the team. We really don't look like we have a clue.
We need to wake up and take some control of the game. Neither team are at the bit...both teams will see this game as here for the taking

No it isn't. 5th in the league and they supposedly have one of the best away followings ever...
Let's also not forget the train service between Gloucester and Brum is disrupted totally so that will affect our following a bit
No excuses for us next week. If we don't take at least 1500+ ....that's a poor show in my eyes

1000 to Millwall is impressive. Those slating it are embarrassing themselves.
We got Birmingham away next week. I've not heard anything on ticket sales for that. Hope we don't embarrass ourselves by taking a similar amount. Our away support has been poor this season

I see they have taken 65 to Portsmouth tonight, they cant have counted the 40000 locked outside
What's there excuse this time? Is this a boycott to?

Wasn't the 79 an incorrect figure and isn't the distance to Scunthorpe three times longer than the distance to Portsmouth
79 was the figure of tickets sold prior to match day.
It was pay on the day.

Mark Little is dreadful. That second goal...his positioning and his effort was embarrassing.
Needs replacing and should never pull out a City shirt again after January

Once again our defence/goalkeeper let's us down
Absolutely pathetic

Sounds pretty embarrassing so far. Sounds very unprofessional from a City at times

Fair point. I was told header so assumed set piece

We seriously need to work on defending headers. Ffs
Our defending at set pieces is abysmal. I don't understand what they do in training?
It's every game

But you still spent a couple of million. My facts are right "pal".
It's a "god awful league" but you had to spend millions to get out of it whilst seriously struggling in it the season before. If it's so awful why did you have to spend millions to have any success in the league?
You finished 11 points clear, not sure that's "pretty comfortably". You spent millions before you even sold Baldock, you were spending regardless.
Thanks for the bites lads.
"Thanks for the bites lads" ....hardly a bite really. As per usual a Rovers fan has been shown up
You say we spent "millions". How did we spend "millions"?
Once again....a Rovers fan making things up. Somethings never change...

Didn't you almost get relegated from the god awful division and then resorted to spending a couple of million to get out of it?
We actually spent less then we made that season. So get your facts right pal

What do any of you know about the rovers team standard, you don't go, maybe you see the odd Highlight on TV. It's like me commenting on city, all I know is your doing pretty well and have a loaner striker who scores for fun. If we go up we deserve it, if your in the prem next season you deserve it. The only think for certain is that DC is a fantastic manager, motivationally, tactically, maybe Johnson is as well but it's too early for you to make the call. I think it's great that players that were conference standard have improved so much on a technical level, it's gives hope to anyone in sport that if your coaching is good enough then you can advance quickly and its great for the game that it's not only splashing crazy cash that gets results, ie Leicester. M Taylor is the prime example looked like an ave conf player, in 2 seasons he's become a Marcus Stewart clone, due to Marcus Stewart coaching.
On a separate note nice to hear Gerry gows relative on the radio earlier, really touched by the thoughts made ref Gerry by Bristolians
That's it... Jager need.
A **** off. What's it got to do with you.

Thanks for that.
How many teams have ever won three successive promotions? The answer is zero. So theyve had a good start on the back of some momentum and a fair amount of good fortune. Do they have the ability, squad depth and resources to stay up there for 35 or so more games? Absolutely not is my opinion. Its not ridiculous. Your touchy and defensive post about our arch rivals is though.
Not touchy at all. I can't stand the cretins and hope they implode very soon. It just looks desperate and petty when some fans on here try to mock their league form. By all means...mock them for believing they have pots of cash, mock them for believing that they will get a new ground. Mock them for thinking they are better supported then us.
We proved a few years back under Johnson senior that with momentum and a bit of good fortune with injuries ...you can go a long way.
Letc hope your right and they implode soon.

The chance of them getting a third successive promotion is virtually zero in my opinion, but imagine if they do it. They are going to be so completely out of their depth up here that it will be great entertainment.
Why is it virtually zero? What a ridiculous statement considering the form they are in

Good for Geoff for taking on that regular Radio Bristol misery guts Ian...time to drop him from his roster of callers. Apparently it was an appalling game of football...with which Geoff disagreed. Knows it all this chap Ian...amazed he's not managing the club...
Can't say I'll be rushing to buy the the DVD when it comes out....

My stance on the new ground is the same as it has been for a good number of years. I will believe it when I am sat watching a game in it.
I think this new ground is vital if you ever want to become a Championship club. I'm not saying you won't ever get there......but you won't stay there and establish yourself without it.
I also think this is your best chance at promotion. The momentum is with you . If you don't do it this year....I dont think you'll do it next

I don't think we'll get promoted this season. We've been lucky coming from a goal behind too many times for the trend to continue.
But it's all going well so far. One point off the playoffs. Who knows?
Here's a genuine question for you.
If City don't get promotion, would you possibly like the prospect that Rovers could go up, and next year look forward to two of the biggest clashes we've had in 100 years, or do you just want them to stay in the lower league and frick off?
Had this discussion in work the other day .
I personally would love it. Would hate seeing all you mutants crowing when you get promoted though....but in the long run, would love to play you again in a game that actually means something

I have just seen the highlights and I can't believe that teams with that level of defending and goalkeeping are in the top 7 places. I used to think there was some reasonable quality in League One, time to reassess.........
Cream always rises to the top. The leagues haven't levelled out yet. Certain teams will drop off as the season goes on. I fancy teams like Northampton and Bury to drop away. Hopefully those cretins from North Bristol to

Some clown on that site saying they averaged 1,300 away last season when they 'finished 3rd in league one' - a) that 1,300 figure is rubbish b) he doesn't even know what division they were in last season! Utterly hilarious as usual!
...because they are pathological liars. I spoke to one Rovers fan the other week who genuinely believes they sold out EVERY away game last season .
I shit you not.
The verbal diarrhoea that comes from the ass hole firmly implanted in the middle of their faces...is at times, pure gold.
