If they are actually singing "Are you watching Ashton Gate" then truly shows how pathetic they are. Are we watching? No why would we be? We play in the Championship, you play in League 2, though next year League 1. Still below us I might add. We have a new refurbished stadium. They have a swamp. Have to be the most embarrassing set of fans in this country. Stop worrying about your better rivals, concentrate on yourselves and enjoy the day while you can. Utter embarrassment, though I'd expect no more from them,
...but to be fair.....we were all watching

This means they are better then us now...

Oh 'Gas logic' is priceless mate - best recent example on their forum was that we are 'only staying up because three teams are worse than us but they are going up because they are better than 20 other teams'
You cannot choreograph comedy quite like that!
I've started using it in my every day life. First time was at work today....
Anything where someone tries to justify something with a stupid reason...'Gas logic'

'Gas logic'....
Quite possibly the best thing I've ever heard

Is this game as low-key and non-eventish as it feels on this thread?!
It's been a painful first 45 to watch.
Glad I've not wasted my money on QPR away if this is anything to go by.
Good goal by Kodjia though. Very well taken. Seems to be enjoying things a lot more these days

Wait a sec.....
Never once did I ever say we were lucky to go up? Who said that?

Come on mate. Not like you to be negative.
Dish out praise when it's deserved. Please see my posts after games like Sheffield Wed and Bolton. Plenty of credit for last week away at Brentford to against what I thought were an excellent team
Blackburn are abysmal. Games like this are yard sticks for players....These are the games where those who ARE good enough...will prove it.

Thank god for Brentford. Look to be saving our sorry arses.
Yep. We barely deserve to stay up this season. Said for ages if we do stay up, it won't be because we deserve It...it will be because the other teams were ever sh*tter

Rovers fans also say that they are going to get 3 consecutive promotions. Just because they say it, doesn't make it true.
But they are idiots? Deluded obsessed idiots
Lets try not to be like them eh

Is it clear they are better off though ?
I have seen no real sign of that yet. They seem not to be able to afford a Stadium without other investment.
No proof that any debt has been written off.
Perhaps Wally was expecting millions from Sainsbury ?
What makes you think they are better off financially ?
Because there is no way they could be any worse off then they were. They didn't have a penny to scratch their asses with

I'm sure there's plenty of people on here who find what others post sad and pathetic.
Difference is they don't make the effort to mock or slate what they say.
Don't post in the thread simple as that!
Just trying to bring it some attention, that by being so petty...they are playing right into the Rovers fans hands who say "we are obsessed'

Its rivalry mate bore off
Yeah it's rivalry but some of the posts on this thread are cringe worthy.
Some City fans (plenty on this thread) are genuinely trying to convince people that Rovers are just as worse off now then they were. Rubbish
OK, it's laughable that some think they are one of the richest clubs in the world, but they are clearly in a much better position financially then they were, and certainly much better financially now then a lot of teams in League 1 and League 2.
Watching some on here try to claw at anything to convince themselves this new owner is no good for the blue few, is at times....sad and pathetic.

The only positive from today was we got a point. That really was dreadful.
Did well to grind out a result there .

Interesting conversation with someone who claims to be ITK at Rovers. The new owners beleive they have been fooled by the previous owner and there is no value in the deal. There is nothing tangible on the new ground negotiations and they may take action to recover some of their money. This may be rumour, or in the weeks / months to come you may say "Pongo told us first"
If you ask for my sauce all I can say is red sauce on a sausage sandwich and brown sauce on a bacon sandwich.
Time will tell won't it. The way I look to it is, if this new owner is as rich as people think....he will surely just build the stadium.
Why the wait? I don't get it

So far some of the football we have played has been simply outstanding today. Some real quick one touch attacking stuff.
Sheffield still look dangerous though. Just need to be aware they are still in this game.
Freeman....been fantastic, but that miss was awful.

7 point gap to the relegation places must be a bit inconvenient for you I guess?
Not at all. Over the moon with it. Why would it be inconvenient?
Oh yeah of course.....I forgot.... "I want us to fail".
Behave you nugget

In to the tense bit. To be honest, would take this right now.
The most important thing tonight was to maintain the gap. We do that....it's been a successful night

It just shows how tight it still is. One goal here or there has a massive influence.
Its tense stuff, but I wish the doom merchants would jog on. Your incessant negativity is boring.
You're no more frustrated than the rest of us, but if your support cannot even amount to waiting 90 minutes then we're fine without you
...and what an incredibly boring place it would be...

Get in! Come on. Happy to be proved wrong here tonight.....
