We don't need starts like that.

No room for sentiments, City make final sub, Tavernier on

Why no Matt Smith?
He'll probably come on to run the clock down

Phew! How about these changes 10-15 mins earlier next time?
Running the clock down?

Even by OTIB standards there has been a massive over-reaction to this. It's one game, and let's face it we're not going up or down so there's little riding on it.
Some people just like to have something to moan about.
Will you refund those that have booked flights, hotels and train journeys if it's such a massive overreaction?
It's not a problem it's changed, it's the timing of the change.

Hope I can be at Paddington Station 1.30 when the train goes to Bristol Then Im gonna take aTaxi to the gate. Hope there are no trouble to get a ticket to the game when Im late.
They should be offering you a seat in the directors box mate.

What a **** up. Fans coming all the way from Scandinavia to watch a match as well. What a complete waste of money for those poor sods.
Is the boardroom braincell on holiday at the moment?

What a beautifully simplistic view of the world.
Isn't it Dave.
I like to cut through the bullshit, using millions of peoples future taxes to bail out toxic banks and bankers is not a good use of our money, they have learned absolutely nothing apart from if it goes to shit again in the future due to their recklessness, nobody will be held responsible and somebody else picks up the tab.
Giddeon and friends in government are always in the background helping these scumbags with the next deal, the latest gift to their City mates was the Royal Mail sell off.
Iceland reacted in exactly the right way, their prime minister had it right when he said "this is not public debt and never will be."

I'm glad you're not Chancellor, Screech!
I never required a bail out Robbo, neither did millions of other ordinary folk including my 6 and 8 year old kids who have had no choice but to pay for something they had no part of.
We bailed out rotten banks and the weasel bankers saved their jobs to **** us over for another day, so if we let banks go to the wall only the people who lost money would need their money back.

As I pointed out, the gold stocks were halved in 1999, nine years before any bank needed to be bailed out.
There is a lot you can criticise Brown for, but I'm not sure the bail outs are one. What would you do as Chancellor? Let the country's financial institutions collapse like dominos because some banks had put large amounts into hopelessly overstretched US mortgage providers.
I need hardly point out that the decision to intervene was supported by G.G. Osborne and the Tory front bench.
However I don't think you can call bankers "Labour's chums". Look at where there money goes: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2011/feb/08/tory-funds-half-city-banks-financial-sector
Why not let them fall like dominos.
They could have given every household the money back from quantitiative easing and we would have put it all back into the economy ourselves.

I think if Clegg is a scaremonger for insisting millions of jobs will go then you have to accept that Farage (among others) is a scaremonger for telling everyone that hundreds of thousands of Romanians and Bulgarians would flood the country on January 1st. Interestingly, he hasn't brought that up so much in recent weeks...
Again full marks for another misquote.
He said the border will be open for millions of Romanians and Bulgarians to come here unopposed if they so wish, and that Westminster can do nothing about it. He never said they would or will come in those numbers.

So ukip have a cut off figure then I presume!?
Strange you have a pop at the BBC, they seem to be giving ukip far to much exposure.
I don't get why a party with a big fat zero when it comes to MP's,gets all this favourable tv exposure.
Seems more and more true that the BBC is turning more right wing.
I'm not a voter Bill. I just know that UKIP have said numerous times that they aren't against immigration, they are against the open door immigration that the usual shower of shite we have as parties are all for. Farage has said we'll take your skilled workers if we need them, that's completely different from what the BBC man keeps harping on about. Like I say, it's fingers in ears and lalalalalala.
-
A friend of mine opines that surely as a keen Little Englander he should pronounce his own name Farr-adge (to rhyme with Garage) rather than the French Fa-raj.
It's all a mystery...
Just goes to show how little you know about UKIP Robbo. UKIP aren't against immigration, they are against mass immigration.
You're the typical stick his fingers in his ears and shout lalalala when it comes to UKIP. No wonder you worked for the BBC.

Great effort from City. If we go on to lose or draw this you can only blame 1 idiot.
-
What to do... Pressure building.
Posh cheating bastards. Hitting the deck every time touched. Fergusons standard
Be clever back, they touch you, you fall down. You get the odd player to go down with imaginary injuries, keeper takes his time with goal kicks. Anything to slow the game right down, proper gamesmanship.

Makes me laugh all this
Yes he is not very good and worries me every time he has the ball.
BUT when it first came out we signed him, and were told he was a wind up merchant, a rough guy, hard as nails etc etc we were all saying YES thats what we need, in fact everyone loved it.
So now he has wound someone up and elbowed him, just as we were told he would and we all thought it was great and just what we needed, we going to slate him now for it
Yeah we were told he would get involved with stupid niggly bits but, come on, 2 - 0 up away from home and he elbows somebody? That's not niggly petty stuff, that's having a pea between the ears and ******* up a great chance to pull away from the bottom.
