  1. Exactly the same instructions given for pitch invaders. Dont chase them, let them come off of their own accord and apprehend then, but obviously any harm/damage they want to cause will have been done.
  2. Pete was 62, hence the applause on minute 62.
  3. No you dont understand. His son is 43 and is the headmaster.
  4. Just wear long sleeve shirts, by the letter of the law hardly any handball penalties.
  5. This sign is at the end nearest the roundabout, but nothing the other end by the lights.
  6. Next game I'm nicking the sign and giving it to Callum O'Dowda
  7. It started but unfortunately fizzled out very quickly.
  8. Yes, he used to be Guernsey Taffy Red on this forum.
  9. Yes, we scouted him from the Neil Kilkenny Academy of Pointing.
  10. What is the PA system like over there Robbo?
  11. Several years ago I had a ticket for WBA away but my transport let me down, so I appealed on here for a lift. Taffy messaged me straight away, a complete stranger, picked me up from my house, and I spent a very enjoyable day in his company, chatting all things City, and midwifery, much to my surprise. A lovely chap who I spoke to often after that. So sad to hear this news. RIP .
  12. RIP. I am sure I know him, think he was Welsh ? Always in shorts. Lovely guy.
  13. When do we ever draw 2-2 with Coventry ? Cant think of one.
  14. Is that Mickey Bell and Gary Owers I can see?
  15. One of those managers who doesnt want a relegation on his CV.
  16. How about the one who ran to the already shirtless Bentley, and just wanted a hug, when he could have tried for another players shirt. Sweet.
  17. The three year option sounds interesting, but how could it work without re structuring the Euros as well?
  18. When was the last time a lino gave a penalty by putting his flag across his chest. Ref never went against his decision. Has that been stopped as well?
  19. Now deduct the points we have fought back from losing positions and where are we? Cant have it both ways I'm afraid.
  20. Playing devils advocate here, but if the offence at the throw in was a clear red card offence, ie a punch or shove to the face, would the ref have still waved play on, then red card him at the next stoppage, by which time the player could have had a hand in a goal for his own team. No, he would have stopped the game and issued the red, so why the difference in card colour. If Martinelli had known he was on a yellow, he wouldnt have committed the second foul.
  21. Why is it that crap refs are always in the oppositions favour. When will we get an awful ref that gives everything to us ? Or would he not be a crap ref then ? On a side note, I think Keith Stroud is very much improved recently, and is one of the refs I enjoy watching, even if he is a bit OTT in his gestures.
