  1. Anyone else slightly worried about the club and next season?

Pearson is absolutely the right man for us, but I worry that JL or SL ego will **** this up. They need to be told some home truths, by a proper football manager, not a yes man.

We're told that we might get a points deduction next season due to our financial situation, yet we're underachieving this season?! It's likely we'll sell our best players, which would mean we're possibly less attractive to watch, as we need to build a team around our best players, not sell them.

And if we sell them, I worry Pearson won't want to stick around any longer. Which really would put us back to square one, with no decent talent and no decent manager to sort the crap out.

And the club seemingly cutting 15 mins out of a press conference because they don't want what NP said to be aired? The fans want real insight, not propaganda from the club, trying to paint a rosey picture.

This is why many of us trust Nige to sort us out. Problem is, mot so many trust he'll get the backing.

Odd that Dave, never had a PM from you, just a really supportive one from a lovely poster regarding my ongoing situation. Aside from that inbox is empty.

Ignore settings at max include PMs so as you keep stating I'm on ignore that's the reason.

Regards the rest of the comments, lets see.

As everyone is so keen on knowing, stuff

I'm on Propanalol to be able to leave the house.

Not eaten properly for months and I'm on meal replacement drinks because of the stress.

I've been egged and stalked as part of  possible reprisals.

Regards support as everyone is so concerned.

I've a dedicated police officer for support on the case.

An IDVA also on the case

    A trauma therapist

    Victim Support Help

    Employee Assistance Programme help

Just started a DV recovery programme.

At the same time I'm rehabbing a non related shoulder and neck injury caused by a fall at home

So a physio, multiple painkillers and rehabilitation for that as well.

I have to document every journey outside the house use Hollieguard so my location can be tracked and then make a note and report to the police anything unusual, such as someone rattling the bins, or playing knock and run away.

I have to let people know where I'm going, when and who I'll be with for how long and then check in I'm home safe. Cant walk many places alone, not allowed to.

I'm likely to lose my job, and possibly my house over all this having already been batrered, bruised, concussed and sexually abused

So, not 'mental' not a 'narcissist' or anything else thrown this way.

Im just a very afraid woman, looking to engage in something that's relatively safe,  get away from all that crap and where her abuser wont turn up and repeat the same. It is the oddest thing to see other posters try though, which is why people will get short shrift.

Enjoy the rest of your discussions.

All this yet you're still so abusive and rude to others? Why?

That's why people are commenting on it. Because it's a forum. We'll have different opinions on all sorts, would be boring if we didn't, but the rudeness and abuse is uncalled for, which is why people questioned the name change, which you denied back in November.

Wish you all the best going forward regarding your situation, however people will find it easier to empathise with you and offer help/talk if the way you put across your POV is made in a better way.

Everyone knows what’s happened here so you may as well admit it.

It’s great that you feel in a good enough place to post again though so welcome back.

Never really know why people change their usernames, unless there's something to hide.

Must of missed the drama, and now it makes sense as to why that other poster has disappeared from the forum!

  4. Same old posters that just can't wait to stick the knife into Pearson when we lose, we all know who they are. I'll never understand why they have to jump on him when we lose a game. But that's OTIB for ya I guess!

It blows my mind how anyone can think a different manager would be able to do better with the squad and attitudes we have. We're completely skint due to FFP, and have brought through more young players in such a short space of time than I can ever remember any other manager doing.

We're playing decent counter-attacking football, which makes the game exciting! We're not great at the back, and it's definitely an area of improvement needed in the Summer, but our games are exciting with Semenyo, Massengo and Wiemann all playing well, something us as fans have been crying out for.

Pearson is working his magic, but it's taking time, and we ARE seeing progress, for sure.

I'm glad he was furious after the game, some of the defending was appalling. We've got one of the most experienced managers we've ever had, he knows what he's doing, but he's not a miracle worker. It'll take time. Have faith!

He's using this season, I'd imagine, to assess who of the youngsters are good enough, and who aren't. So that we can build a team in the summer around them, once we've shipped out (hopefully) some of our biggest earners wasters.

Better team won despite being poor. Mane v Salah final.

It's the final all neutrals (excluding Liverpool fans) wanted to see really.

But agreed, was really poor. What's with the 2 step run up?!

Sometimes with these young ‘un’s it is literally a case of persevering until the penny drops. There will be a lot of posters with egg on face the way Antoine is going…..

I've not really posted about him, but I'm absolutely one of them. Few months back, in my mind, thought he didn't look like he'd come good, but boy oh boy has he turned it around.

Looks absolutely frightening, and the very first name on the team sheet for me. Followed extremely closely by Massengo. We have to keep these two for next season, without a doubt.

Is it me, or does anyone else think Forest's away kit looks like rhubarb and custard?

Think it looks alright. I'll never understand why more clubs don't opt for that extra couple of percent advantage that having a bright colour kit brings.

When making split second decisions, seeing a team mate in your peripheral because he stands out like a fruit salad is much more beneficial than just a standard blue/red /green colour which kinda blends into the background.

  8. Back on topic - the audio is absolutely horrific to be honest.

And what's just as bad, is that I'm not surprised. People who get everything handed to them on a plate, aren't used to people saying NO to them, which is part of the problem.

Shes incredibly brave to come out and post the audio and images. Just think, how many times has this happened BEFORE, for her to have to set up a recording to catch him doing it. There's absolutely no way this is a one off, which is vile.

Just because he kicks a bag of wind around earning obscene amounts of money for doing so, does not give him the right to impose himself on his partner or anyone else for that matter.

Really hope he gets the book thrown at him if it's true. But as we've seen with other footballers who have committed crimes of similar ilk, they've found a way back into football. Football has no morals really. Especially if the rumours of Man Utd knowing about it previously are true.

It's pretty dreadful behaviour from what is no doubt a minority of their fans.

Let's not sink to their level by online macho posturing about fighting and being 'hard', it 2021 not 1981.

Well done the Cardiff board for agreeing to pay for the damage.

    You sure? ?

The performances in the the last four games(one win and three defeats) have been better.

As a fan I  ain't in the entertainment business when going to watch my team,I am there to watch them beat the opposition

If I want to be entertainment.I'll go and my favourite music band.

If we play hoof ball from our keeper, the ball is then half way up the pitch.

Its then a fifty fifty chance of the ball going towards the oppositions goal

Hoof ball every time over entertainment any day.

See all you hoardes at Fulham on Saturday

Can't agree at all. There's nothing worse for me than seeing a defender aimlessly punt the ball up the pitch, with us inevitably losing possession and them coming back at us.

It's dull, it's boring and frankly quite painful to watch. It's not playing football. These guys are paid megabucks to PLAY football. Not hoof it up the pitch whenever we have the ball. It is an entertainment business, if the football is dire, win lose or draw, I'm not impressed.

I'm going super injunction because there's more to it than meets the eye. Maybe they've uncovered some large scale crimes and it was more than just one footballer and one child.

Genuine question, are super injunctions still a thing?

I remember when they were all the rage with celebrities and ex footballers using them, Ryan Giggs being one of them, but since then, don't really hear about them much anymore, so presumed there was a change in the law or something.

  12. Listening to Talksport, Simon Jordan just admitted to throwing a cup of coffee at Steve Lansdown and called him a cheat, presumably because of the ghost goal. Not sure if this was common knowledge, but first I'd heard of this. Wonder what Steve's reaction was!

Edit - turns out it wasn't because of the ghost goal, was us getting a corner in last min which we scored from but shouldn't of had the corner. Not the crime of the century in footballing terms.

  13. Yeah, with all the money sloshing around in football, and in particular, the Premier league and Liverpool/players, I read the article expecting it to be they invited him to a game, and bought the arm for him and his brother, but to find out it was rented and then given back, seems a bit... Wrong?

Whilst you should never expect those with more than you to give, these poor guys can't even feed themselves, utterly heartbreaking, so you'd of thought £50k to the club and ayers is nothing. They'll spend that on a manbag or a night out as someone mentioned.

Someone at a match is essentially dying but it’s more important for you that a game of football doesn’t stop?   For me, what is weirder, is that a game of football should continue whilst a person just yards from the action gets life saving aid

    Hopefully

Thank god someone has said it. I can't believe that it seems 'strange' to some people for a game to stop whilst someone is potentially dying?!

It's absolutely right that the game stop. A large area around the affected spectator needs to be cleared for obvious reasons, so lots of people standing in walkways etc, games should always be stopped for this to ensure that they get the right treatment as quickly as possible, as medical staff might need to run onto the pitch to get to them quickly.

Edit - Further to add, imagine if a goal goes in, people are jumping around, it's extremely loud whilst paramedics are on the floor trying to communicate to the fan or to their colleague, just makes perfect sense for the game to stop, and never understood why it hasn't stopped before to be honest.

Why? It’s just an opinion? To which he is perfectly entitled.
One many of us may not agree with, sure, but what makes it a sackable offence?

I think if I started telling other people what I thought of my boss, or someone up the chain in such a manner, I think I'd be sacked for gross misconduct.

You're allowed opinions, but keep them to yourself if it's bad opinions of those in your workplace.

Especially a company (club) that is very much in the public eye.

  16. Nige, wishing you a speedy recovery, it's a horrible illness, one that I hope you come back bigger and stronger than before. We need you now more than ever! You've got our confidence and faith to lead and take us forward. Take the time you need to get back to full health, looking forward to seeing you on the touchline again!

    All the best, COYR's!
