Can't make this tonight. Can anyone going report how Leeson does please assuming he plays. Think he has a good chance of breaking through. Might need a loan this season as we have McCrorie and Tanner competing for the right back spot at present.

See that Bournemouth have just got a new left back in, the position LK was playing mainly last season.

Gillingham look like they are going to make some good signings for league 2. I expect them to be a shorter price come opening day of the season.

As you are probably aware the Saudi PIF bought 4 Saudi clubs last month, they also, of course, own Newcastle.

There is no FFP or equivalent in Saudi, again well documented, you can see where this is going.

Eddie Howe has been constantly going on about FFP and how it limits what they can do in the market, strangely more vocal than most other EPL managers.

As far as I am aware, as things stand there is nothing FIFA or UEFA can do about it - Watford on a much bigger scale.

Yep this has been discussed, a two year loan to Newcastle was muted.

Naismith picked up an injury in Austria.

Looking forward to seeing Cornick after a full pre season with us. He came to us in Jan having played very few minutes for Luton. You could tell he was struggling fitness wise 65 mins into most matches he started. I think he will be a big player for us this season. There I have said it.

Also they have already lost Keita and Milner from their midfield. Also talk of Thiago leaving in this window as well.

Zac Bell gone on loan to Yeovil until January. Hopefully gets a lot of game time down there.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but Bournemouth have signed a midfielder for 12million and immediately loaned him out to a french club for the season. Never thought I would see the day when they could afford to do that. Almost Chelseaesque.

Going to Yate next Tuesday when the U23s play so will be interesting to see if the squad remains consistent 

I will see them over Paulton on the following Saturday as well.
