  1. Correct. The local theatre wanted to run a drive in cinema on the car park during lockdown in October 2020, which was allowed under English restrictions, however the toilets in the stadium are situated in Wales which didn't permit outdoor cinemas at the time. It did go ahead in the end but they had to reduce the number of cars allowed and use space in the car park to put in temporary portaloos.
  2. Would like Conway to get more opportunities before the end of the season. Definitely a player there.
  3. A cynic might suggest that they're not too fussed about the crowd size tomorrow given the quick turnaround.
  4. * and minimum £23 for their accompanying adult....
  5. Yeah, I remember saying at the time that, whilst it wasn't enough by itself to get him sacked, it wouldn't have gone down well at all with the powers that be and you can bet it was taken into the equation when they considered his position.
  6. We're not blessed with the size of squad where he can make a whole load of changes.
  7. Nige seemed to think that Fulham might go quite strong because they've not played for a couple of weeks, however they've got 3 league games (including us) in 8 days after Saturday so I can't see it.
  8. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/nigel-pearson-referee-comments-qpr-6446963 Nige's post match comments are being "investigated" by the FA.
  9. Khawaja has more runs in the series than all bar 2 of the England batsmen.
  10. They've tweeted that the game with Shrewsbury in the FA Cup this weekend is definitely still on. How does that work then? Does the quality of the opposition dictate whether you've got enough fit players or not?
  11. NZ have lost 2 already this morning, effectively 30-7. Edit: 8 down now
  12. And who is doing that? People can see positive signs, that's all anyone is saying.
  13. Broad in for Robinson, who has a shoulder injury, is the only change from last week.
  14. The bit in bold is what I've found most mystifying about some of the reactions on here this season - what seems like an inability to grasp that this lower midtable finish that is deemed acceptable still involves losing plenty of matches, given that every setback is met with a meltdown from certain sections of the fanbase.
  15. Yep. The best bit was that they followed up that game last season by getting smacked 6-1 at Coventry a week later.
  16. The applause was very audible on the telly.
  17. I think this might have been the reasoning, moreso than trying to make a point about transfers. See where Towler is at and whether he can be an option for us in the second half of the season. If he isn't up to it yet, get him back out on loan, assuming that we can? It didn't work today and was rightly rectified at half time, but if my thinking is correct then I wouldn't be entirely shocked to see him start the cup game next week to give it another go.
  18. Ended 1-1. WBA finished with 10 men after Mowatt was sent off, then were denied what looked a stonewall pen in the dying seconds. Ref then immediately blew for full time, WBA boss raced on to confront him and in the ensuing melee Flint and Sam Johnstone were both shown red cards.
  19. I'm sure he'll be distraught to read that.
