All this stems from the selling of alex Scott.
Nige wanted Yates but asked for money upfront before the Scott departure so he could secure the move. Was promised money and when asked it was denied.
Wanted another striker (langstaff, from Notts C) but was told you got two players in Bell and Conway.
Asked to develop Conway to be sold for 20+ plus million in 2 years time.
No interviews currently being done, what a shit show this club is. I'm beyond angry!!
Yates?

Look out for the fans chanting "We want Pearson back, we want pearson back" on Saturday along with "Sack the board, sack the board, sack the board" irrespective of how well we play against the absolutely worst team in the Championship at the moment and heaven forbid if they beat us.
I think a non-stop "You don't know what you're doing" would fit the bill nicely.

Unbelievable decision. I cannot find any reasoning behind it. Surely the club would have been a lot more investable with a world class manager on board. Therefore, it doesn’t even align with the nest egg conspiracy theories.
There simply has to be more to this that we know, because it makes absolutely no sense based on the facts that we know.
It's personal.

They must have someone lined up
What, in their history of rubbish decision making, suggests that?

Thanks Nige, I purchased a season ticket this season, after several years not bothering, as a direct result of your work for our club. All the best and thanks for your efforts.

Utterly depressing. First manager in ages worth listening to. Back to waffling platitudes again.

By doing his best to build a sustainable club
I would suggest Nige has been carrying out that mission since he's been here.

With a thread title like that, this post should be in the 'Israel-palestine' thread in politics.

and I think it was evident from the first game of against Preston that breaking down sides was/is a concern this season……injuries or not.
What is it you don't understand about 'not being able to spend the cash to bring in higher class players'?

I don’t know how many games you’ve watched this season but apart from 1 or 2 we’ve not been totally outclassed
Correct. We're more competitive, consistently than for a long time. Largely I suspect due to the managers influence.

ames, likely to be one of NP’s biggest fans in the dressing room, is away from the team for a while.
I know he's injured, but he'll be around. He'll need treatment.

So, as we speak, the top 4 consists of the 3 relegated teams + Ipswich!

I’ve told Joe to invade the pitch and ruin it doing wheelspins in his power chair until the pitch is unplayable!!!
Well, if Colin was still there he'd be encouraging him!

I just feel we look far more dangerous with Sykes right side of the front three and I agree that Weimann wasn’t effective in that role yesterday.
Is it just me, but we are playing with a front 1 aren't we?

Decision making meant several times James and Knight ignored Yeboah when he was in space, but instead punted 50/50 balls at Cornick or Sykes in a congested right side of the pitch. Roberts was similarly ignored once.
Whether it's that they don't trust them, or just have poor left-sided vision, it was a waste. Ephraim will get a goal, then all the rubbishing that he gets will fade away. at present, half the time in order to play the ball forward, he has to go and nick it from an opponent himself.
I don't rubbish him.

Currently Yeboah has the physicality, speed and commitment, but doesn't seem to have the ball control or decision making to go with it. Hopefully he'll acquire the decision making with experience, but I'm not sure about the ball control. At the moment he seems to suffer from what was called 'clumsy baby syndrome' when my kids were very young!

Semenyo would have made it interesting last night though, for sure
Exactly what I was thinking at the time!
I remember having a conversation with a bluebird mate when Colin was in charge there. He asked what was the point in all this tippy-tippy between defenders/keeper, in the penalty area, so I explained. His response was "I can't see Colin going for any of that"!

As usual mine didn't work!

Yes I've had plenty. The irony is my pass hasn't worked once! Always have to be swiped in by the attendant with the card!

Hi all. Looking to buy 2 tickets to see the red roses in March. I want to get best possible seats, ideally with cover. Best seats left seem to be in W12 or E31 but I can’t work out which would be best. Obviously E31 is more central, but I’ve heard the Lansdown stand is better, and has better shelter from wind and rain. Would this be the case for W12? TIA
Red roses?

Wouldn't surprise me if Mattie moved on in January anyway. He came because of Nige. Andy King, lifelong City fan so he may hang around till summer.
