Surely we can't expect to sign someone new every time a player has a few weeks of poor form?

Conway is a good striker at this level, and will only get better. No need to panic.

I like Tommy but he is right off it at the moment and I don't think it suits his game playing as we are. If he had put away some of the presentable chances he's had in the last few games we would likely be 4 points better off. We need an alternative. Playing Sykes on the left hasn't helped him either.

  2. Until we sign someone who can put away the chances that Tommy can't, and is comfortable playing in the current system, we aren't going to get anywhere different than our current situation. Tommy is clearly badly out of form and I don't think it suits his game playing as we are.

I thought this thread might be announcing that they have built the Honiton bypass.

    (One for the oldies)

My Dad used to get us up at stupid o'clock to set off for the annual jaunt to Devon/Cornwall so that we could 'beat the jams'! Bypasses were the answer although I seem to remember 'flyovers' were the up and coming answer in some locations.

Bell would not have been called up to the England U20 squad unless they thought he had the potential to eventually go on and play for the England 1st team in my opinion.

Interestingly, Jason Euell was one of the coaches at the recent U20 gathering.

Lost his man completely at a corner, didn’t switch on & was little help to Pring most of the time.

Agreed, and this is why he wasn't getting game time under NP. He's still learning the game but needs to hurry up if he wants more game time.
