Of course it’s unprofessional! They pay his wages, how can he refuse to play. The only Sunderland fans who will agree with him are those who still believe they are a big club and have a right to be in the premier league. They have been petty ever since Beale was appointed. Manning had mixed reviews when joining us but Sunderland were embarrassing about Beale.

So you think Max is being coached to smash the ball over Pring’s head and raise his hand in apology each time? If he is then whoever is coaching that deserves a pay rise as they have taught Max to be very good at it. All I am saying is Max’s kicking needs to be drastically improved. If this was then he’d be a much better all round keeper and someone I’d be more than happy with sticking with.

Not 100% of the time, just now and again would be nice. You’re not allowed to criticise his kicking apparently…

But playing the ball out the Pring isn’t a bad option. The issue is giving Pring no opportunity to win it. Drop it on Pring’s head to flick it on. Don’t keep kicking it 10 yards over him and giving possession back easily.

Excellent bit of keeping and in general an excellent shot stopper. That has never been in question. Look at West Ham away and home to see that. But as said many times before, there is more to goalkeeping nowadays. I think yesterday was one of Max’s worse days for kicking. Constantly smashing it out over spring’s head. When he tried to adjust he was booting it straight down the throat of their centre half. Then there was the goal at Preston last week. He will do until the summer but certainly an area we need improvement in going forward. There is just too much value in a keeper nowadays in more aspects than catching a ball.

Ridiculous! If he was being that bad then call him a **** and move on. They really are trying to justify racism! The line, “I don’t condone any racism whatsoever but…” is absolutely disgusting.

I thought in general Zak was decent yesterday defensively. They had a big old unit up front and Zak won most challenges both physically and aerially. But his choice of passing and execution was shocking. Has been for a while and will probably be the one thing that holds him back from playing any higher.

Does Mehmeti’s development get blocked by Twine’s short term stay here? Personally I thought Mehmeti was have his best run of games for us since you joined a year ago. I was surprised to see Mehmeti not play any part today. Thought he could have come on for Knight and add spark in the last 10/15 mins or so.

Racial abused at Shed Wed today. Video of it is pretty condemning. Vile act by the person involved. Genuinely what goes through peoples minds???

If you went today, or 99% of other home games on a Saturday afternoon, based on the social media videos vs West Ham home/away, you’d have thought you were at the wrong ground…

The biggest risk with loan signings is the potential lack of commitment when they are not tied to the club for more than a few months. Twine’s goal showed that won’t be a problem. His determination and commitment to win that header was as good as anyones. Biggest criticism would be the number of times he tried to clip the ball from left to right into the box which was easily cleared every time. It was clear it wasn’t working.

This lad will be 20 by the end of the season. By no means old! But at that age nowadays you’d have expect them to be in and around the first time. Not always the case I know. Pring didnt break through until couple of season ago. Forget he is 26. But that tends to be the exception rather than the rule. Given the aim is premier league football in a couple of years (I know it’s wishful thinking!), I assume we look at this kid as some with the potential to play at that level?

Few things to mention… They haven’t mentioned the Williams tackle so assume there is nothing to discuss. Vyner loves a dodgy pass along the back line. MO’L is an accident waiting to happen.

Has been a regular for Hull. I know they have signed Carvalho from Liverpool on loan but you have to wonder what’s in it for Twine unless he was told his game time at Hull was going to be minimal?

Stupid question, I guess you can scan the bar code in the emailed ticket rather than actually having to print it? I don’t know why this wouldn’t work but thought I had read you had to print it?

Think this is where I am now with the club. Not surprised at today’s result. Accepted that will be how it is until the end of the season. We will pick up wins, lose a few as well. Performances will be up and down. Probably much like of Pearson were still in charge. I have been a harsh critic of Manning. Not because of him, but under the circumstances he came in under and the comments made by the hierarchy at the time. Do I see us progressing under Manning? Not really. Is it exciting football? Not really. But I do hope he brings in a couple this month to adjust to the club and indeed championship football if anyone is making a step up. We can then push on from the summer with a clean slate and prove me wrong.

It’s not, it happens time and time again. The problem we had was that we weren’t in a decline when Pearson went and Manning came in so there was no bounce to happen.

Mixed feelings on this one. Sad he is going but also a little excitement about a potential incoming. Great servant but clearly not the player he was. If his move makes way for someone younger coming in then it makes sense. All the best Andi!

Managed to do it now. To be honest it was my own fault. There was a tiny ticket box in the far left hand side that when using a mobile was covered by the text. If anyone is having issues the same as I was I would assume it’s that and you need to find the tick box hidden amongst the text.

Still not able to buy my ticket! Every time I click proceed it takes me back to the buy ticket page. I’m in work so I can’t call the club either. Anyone had any luck trying it a different way? Will be fuming if my seat goes in general sale tomorrow

Yeboah’s inclusion in the first team squad was always NP making a point that he wasn’t backed financially. Yeboah never looked ready for senior football. Let’s hope he can push on from this and develop in the right way and we see him back around the first team in a year or two.

Delap who gave Pring a nightmare for long spells the other week? He might not play for an elite club but he’ll certainly have a decent career.
