  1. Anything less than a win and the thread is very much alive!
  2. Conway will score goals based on service provided. He isn’t provided any! There is a reason much bigger clubs are interested in him and why he will be long gone come this summer.
  3. Which should be an a wind down now. He offers nothing. Bit part player at best, at least he should be.
  4. I think the bottom line Dave is that regardless of keeping the ball better or not, we are not winning games and we are not playing football the fans want to see. Unfortunately the Southampton game was a one off, the only decent league performance under Manning to date. We played with pace and purpose. The worse thing for me is the papering over the cracks with the occasional unexpected win here and there, whilst having to put up with watching the same mundane football week in week out.
  5. Maybe it’s just me then whose gone past the point of caring
  6. Tonight showed the problem with modern football. The best in the premier league can dominate a team like that. However, the team who just got hammered again will most likely dominate the championship next season. The gap in football continues to grow bigger and bigger.
  7. I guess this is an agree to disagree. For me it’s about feeling like I am getting value for money. I was happy to pay the price when Pearson was in charge, knowing things would be hit and miss but seeing the progress and supporting the what he was building. I know things may be different next season but given the usual timeframes around renewing, based on what we have seen under Manning, I wouldn’t be happy to spend £400+. I know nothing is guaranteed, but if I was to spend £250 on a season ticket under Manning’s leadership, I would feel comfortable not bothering to go when the football is as dire as it has been.
  8. I’d suggest the cost of buying said paint and watching it dry would represent greater value for money
  9. It’s called value for money. What’s there not to understand? You wouldn’t pay the same price for a 20 year old fiesta as you would a brand new Mercedes…
  10. Said soon after his appointment the anger was about Manning being appointed, it was about the lack of appreciation and respect the board showed to Pearson. Most fans could see what he had done and what he was doing. Unfortunately the board didn’t. However, as the weeks go on it’s clear Manning is out of his depth and doing himself no favours in his interviews. Sympathy fast running out. I’d be interested in hearing from someone who was happy to see Pearson go and Manning appointed, who has since had second thoughts, especially what caused the rethink.
  11. My decision has been made easy given the change in my family situation. I will not be renewing. However, taking that out the equation I can safely say I would not have been renewing next season. We are supposed to be paying for entertainment, we aren’t being entertained. I wouldn’t pay an increased price, I wouldn’t pay at the same price as I have no belief in the club anymore. The only way I would have been open to renewing would have been with a significant reduction which let’s be honest, wouldn’t happen even if we were in league 1 next season.
  12. Anyone who thinks we aren’t in a fight are kidding themselves. Our “guaranteed” points should have been QPR and Sheffield Wednesday. Lose games like that and you are rightfully in trouble. And befor anyone says QPR beat Leicester today, they literally stole the points. Results like that happen. Against us they played us off the pitch, as did Wednesday.
  13. Thanks, wasn’t the main point of the post but had to drop it in there .
  14. It the (deservedly so) meltdown on here, but the result today. I couldn’t go, little girl was born 2 days ago, but to be honest I would have been reluctant to go anyway. It was so predictable. Anyone who thought anything else would happen today are deluded.
  15. To be fair he has never hidden from this. He tweets from ‘Player ID’ but in his own personal bio he states he is the one behind Player ID. Some fool made out they were Sherlock Holmes to work this out when it was in his bio all the time.
  16. Murphy a slight concern maybe. Move didn’t happen in the summer due to medical issues apparently. We obviously kept an interest despite a change in the management set up. Would hope they were thorough in their medical checks this time around.
  17. This does have the feel of Christian Ribeiro about it. Let’s hope he can kick on from his injury set backs.
  18. Don’t panic guys, I hear this Kasey Palmer lad is better…
  19. If he can let’s make sure we all give him a barrel of abuse when he doesn’t score 3 a game even though we have no one making chances for him.
