We won’t win the euros for two reasons. Firstly, not for the quality defensively. Secondly, Southgate! -
If he is as exciting as he promises then not likely to get a looking under Manning. Excitement is part of Manningball

Can’t believe they didn’t go for this…

Not that I rate Gallagher at all, but isn’t that the same as Jason Knight? -

Going into the euros, left back and the third midfielder (Gallagher playing there tonight) are the biggest areas of concern. I personally would like to see Rice, Bellingham and Foden in the midfield three. Regarding the left back position, that one is anyone’s guess. Don’t think Chilwell or Shaw are the answers. -
Not too bothered either way on this. As others have said, if you don’t like it don’t buy it. However, a good point someone did make was how would the Welsh feel if you were to remove the dragon from their flag and replace it with say a cat?

Any comparison for this season as yet?

One of my team in work said he was thinking of moving to Birmingham so couldn’t do the three days a week in the office and if was made to do so would need to be compensated with a travel allowance. Response was he could live wherever he wanted, that’s his choice. But he has to be in the office three days a week and at his own expense. Guess the same theory applies to your support of city. Great you have a season ticket and show such commitment, but you choose to live in London. Why should that be treated differently to anyone living 5 mins away?

The trouble with the Ipswich blueprint is a certain Mark Ashton! Again, questions need to be asked as to how he is driving the Ipswich charge, yet was nearly leading us to financial ruin.

Why do I have an image of statues of Tinnion and Manning dressed as Greek gods, with Pearson on his hands and knees bowing before them??? -
The End of the Beginning and the Beginning of the end

Say this is true, what would be expectation in those 8 games be? 3 wins with the same performance as against Swansea? 5 defeats but each one is attacking, exciting 5-4 losses? And do we think the noise around season tickets might force their hand? -
So who caved in on day 1 then???

Careful, might upset the happy clappers -
To be fair, not a bad little promo video if you take it at face value. Luckily we know better.

After Tinnion said himself last week you can’t compare us to Coventry, you think Robins would happily walk away from them to join us…

Apart from Rotherham I can’t see any other wins this season. -
Nearly £10m spent…is it good enough ?
formerly known as ivan replied to And Its Smith's topic in Football Chat
It’s not just the amount of money we spend, it’s the value for money we get. If we had spent £200k on a striker who scored 25+ goals a season, the amount we spent wouldn’t matter. Problem is we seem to have our pants pulled down paying over the odds for bang average players. McCorie was unlucky with his health, we will see next season if that was £2m well spent. Knight is a bit hit and miss for me. I think the amount of energy he put in earlier in the season is starting to show. The rest of the signings still have huge question marks against them with the exception of Dickie who represents the best value for money. -

Are there worse clubs than us since this managerial set up was put in place? Maybe one for everyone’s favourite stato @Davefevs but if anyone can be bothered to do a league table based on if the season had started with Manning’s first game it would be interesting.
