Problem is Max is equally as bad, if not worse, than Bentley for commanding his area. Bentley is by far the superior keeper out the two. It’s the French lad I think we all pinning our hopes on!

Seen a lot on social media about the penalty incident yesterday vs Everton and how you fooled the ref into giving it. Now I’ve watched it a number of times and I cannot see how anyone could argue against it being a penalty. Pickford has thrown himself into Kane. The impact is clear and Pickford’s head even bounces off Kane’s leg such is the force of impact. Am I missing something? Is there a reason it’s no so clear cut as what I am seeing?

Fair point but 2 mins isn’t enough. Don’t get me wrong, there has been many male fights where 12x3 had felt far too long and turned into a bore fest.

I think 10x3 increases the chance of a knockout and would be more entertaining. As I said, tonight was very entertaining but each time the rounds were finished too soon.

This is the elite of women’s boxing. That was action packed but it’s bugging me it’s fought over 10, 2 mins rounds. The rounds are really heating up and all of a sudden the bell goes. If this is to compete with the men’s sport they have to be fighting 3 min rounds even if it’s over 10 surely?

Nail on head! Apart from Scott, no one else wants to hold/run with the ball. Scott’s run in the first half was outstanding. Not only is he the only one able to do that, no one offered anything ahead of him.

Completely agree mate. Even during lockdown when they were operating a takeaway only it was worth the drive from Whitchurch to Temple Meads on a few occasions.

I don’t like this rotation stuff. It’s nice the have options but at the end of the day some are better, at this stage in their careers at least, than others. Would be harsh to drop Conway but Semenyo proved it last season and has started to again this, he is our best attacker along with Weimann. And it looks like Wells at the moment for the third spot. We know the better players currently and if all fit they should play with Martin and Conway impacting off the bench.

Just come across this thread. I’m sure Pasture has been mentioned. My favourite steak place. Lucky if you can get a booking at a decent time at any point in the near future. For Italian, Don Gionvannis opposite temple meads is my go to place. Best lasagna I’ve ever had accompanied by some amazing dauphinois potatoes. Went to Milk Bun in Clifton last week for a burger. Whilst the burger was nice, it cost £17 alone (yes that was with a double pattie). Mac n cheese was ok. Chicken strips were very nice! But having cost the best part of £60 for two burgers and two sides I won’t be going back anytime soon.

AJs career has been a huge myth, made to look better by fighting mediocre boxers. Hearn tried to big him up with his record but apart from Parker and Povetkin the rest were nobodies and has beens. Even lost to Ruiz which was literally the biggest embarrassment in heavyweight boxing. The second he thought someone with any ability he got bullied for probably 21/22 rounds over the two fights.
