The question I asked about the £100m was more from the comparisons with Grealish than anything else. I’m not sure what career stats were like vs Grealish at the same age.

You’re right, ridiculous question. We all know Scott’s best position. However, we are lucky he can adapt to wherever he is needed, albeit in a deeper role, or out wide. Basically the complete midfielder.

As good as Scott was today, King deserves special praise. I’d written him off, especially as a centre back! But he was very good today all things considered, age, lack of game time etc… His ball into Weimann for the goal was very clever.

Decent shot stopper but that is about it. Kicking is atrocious. Doesn’t command his area. I don’t think Bentley did either for comparison. By no means a terrible keeper, just more of a championship No.2. I see O’Leary as a weak link in the team. There has to be stronger options out there. If everyone at the club was fit you would I don’t know what other area you would look at and say it needed strengthening more than in goal. Right back is covered, as is left back and centre backs. Midfield and attacking are all decent with the youngsters growing season by season. Yes some will leave, some are entering their twilight years. But man for man as it stands, keeper would be the first area I would look to improve on.

Bringing in a decent keeper is a must. O’Leary is a decent back up at this level but not long term solution. I see Karl Darlow is on loan at Hull. Would be a great signing but think he still have a couple of years to run on his Newcastle contract, unless there is an agreement to terminate it. Other than that, I would expect to see a minimum of two defenders and two midfielders come into the club. Once Conway is fit again I don’t think upfront is somewhere we would look to sign someone.

Easy solution… sack Pearson, employ Warnock and that way there is no way to have any midfielders! If James isn’t fit I think we will see King, Scott and Weimann as the midfield three.

Fair point, should have checked first as I had no idea he scored this many so far. He is in my fantasy football team but rarely seems to score points. Maybe should have used a more scientific way of judging his performances!

I would argue that none of them are currently better than Rashford right now. Even without taking into account their respective clubs. Kane has been poor most the season.

Watching the Barca/Utd game, which has been a cracking game by the way, and wondering where Rashford sits in the discussion of the best players in the world currently. Has to be in consideration for the best player at the moment. Hard to think of anyone better. As I write this he just blazed one high and wide!

They feel nice. I was split between these and the Cloudmonster. Both the same price. Not sure why I swayed to the Stratus in the end but enjoyed them on the first couple of outings.

I know his quality has been done to death on here but going to ask the question anyway… Scrolling through twitter I see that the England U21s have two fixtures in March. Has he done enough for a call up? How shocked would you be if he wasn’t selected in the U21 squad? Does his value increase further with an U21 cap to his name? There are some quality players in the squad at present but no one that seems to be impressing week in week out like Scott is currently doing.
