  1. Regarding Roberts natural position, sounds like he is a bit like Bailey Wright. Centre back by trade but can do a job at fullback if need. Sounds like a great signing in terms of both the present and the future.
  2. Tweeted about Man City just now and the amount of Spurs fans begging Scott to join them is embarrassing! Even they see him as their saviour ?
  3. Mac Allister’s fee was driven by his release clause so would make no difference to what we ask for Scott. Without the Liverpool would have been paying £80m+ for him.
  4. McCorie hasn’t been signed as a defender is my understanding ready between the lines on here. More like to be used as a defensive midfielder. Could be completely wrong on that though.
  5. They do, turned out to be a decent season for them in the end
  6. Absolutely! All trophy’s matter when you are the one winning them
  7. Well done West Ham. Still stand by the fact it’s nothing more than the Papa Johns trophy…
  8. Was just reading the Bellingham update on the BBC sports page. A reminder in there that Birmingham were mocked when they retired his number after he signed for Dortmund. Still seems strange but given how his career has gone to date he could possibly go down as one of the best ever So given how highly regarded Scott is and the comparisons to Bellingham (teenager in the championship), surely we wouldn’t consider doing the same… would we???
  9. You are missing Vyner who I’m sure will be a starter off the back of the season he has had.
  10. I won’t believe he has signed until I see him sat in a seat at Ashton Gate holding the shirt aloft and only then does it…. Oh, hang on a minute…
  11. Seen him walking around Cabot a couple of weeks ago so assumed he still lives in the area. Edit: A shrews fan mate of mine said he had been heavily linked to the Reading job in recent weeks.
  12. Wouldn’t be upset to see Scott taken off at half time. He’s been on the end of a few heavy challenges late in that first half.
  13. How the hell has this thread progressed to one about Semenyo??? ?
  14. Okolie is such a horrible fighter to watch. Should be losing this on point deductions alone
  15. Starts against PSG tonight. Clearly his future is elsewhere but interested in how he gets on against the superstars
  16. Seems like a lot of people aren’t big fans of Lockyer. I can only assume it’s because of who he has played for in the past…. Personally I think he has everything we need in terms of attitude and application. Not the biggest but doesn’t get bullied and does the dirty side of things well. We complain all the time that we are too nice of a team. Need more about us when it comes to the not so nice to be watch side of the game if we are to challenge at any point. For Lockyer in particular, the be on the verge of the premier league now having spent most his career in the lower leagues is quite an achievement for him personally.
  17. Well done to everyone who took part, be it Bristol or in Leeds. Having found myself at my heaviest/most unfit I have been in my life at the start of the year, I am back starting again. It’s a tough journey physically and mentally. If you look back to the earlier pages on this thread I was a keen runner, 51min 10k in 2015 was my PB and I had started training for a half marathon. I don’t know what happened in the years that followed but here I am. keep pushing people ?
  18. Will be interesting to see how he progresses. With his obvious connections to the area and club, could be our future manager in waiting if he builds himself a good reputation
  19. Most likely because there is a possibility someone will take offence to something and all hell breaks loose. Tends to be the done thing nowadays
  20. Great move for Bellingham but I would be disappointed not seeing him play in the premier league
  21. You are picking out one game in which Cornick, unquestionably, put in a superb performance. Yet he still gets chance after chance? And Mehmeti is only going to have a chance to improve end product if given the chance to play. While there is nothing on the line it was the perfect opportunity to give him those valuable minutes on the pitch to help coach/educate him.
  22. So Mehmeti has one poor game and is suddenly out the picture, yet other repeatedly put in poor performances and get given chance after chance?
