  1. If things keep progressing as they are, then realistically MO’L is the weak link in the team. He is doing ok. Unfortunately I can’t see him being any better than ok. If we are to push on next season a new no.1 will need to be signed. Not sure if the keeper we signed in January is the answer. I hope we would be looking at someone like Cooper at Plymouth, although his injury might prevent any move soon.
  2. What do we have if we do not have hope! ?
  3. Big game tonight. Fingers crossed for the baggies picking up 3 points
  4. Bought the On Cloudstratus in the end. Way over my budget and advanced for the level I’m currently at but I just loved how they look and they sounded good!
  5. A decent showing vs Man City in a few weeks would really catch the attention to some big clubs. Maybe even Man City themselves????
  6. Cheers mate, appreciate that. Was looking at the Hoka as well. Do they fit true to size?
  7. Yeah I want to get away from having the usual Nike/Adidas. Feel like there has to be better value for money out there. And I’m not sure why but I don’t like the thought of going to a proper shop to be put on a treadmill, even though if been recommended before. Almost worried they might just say “don’t bother mate”
  8. Thanks, Brooks Ghost were one of the ones I was looking at. Really like the sound of the On Cloudmonster as well reading the reviews but retail is £150-£160 which is more than I wanted to spend.
  9. Had to go scrolling to find this thread! After the last few years of abusing my body I am back trying to lose weight and get fit. Running will play a big part of that! Started again now using my Adidas Ultraboost 21 shoes but they are feeling a little tight. Any recommendations on running shoes?
  10. Gets better and better each round that passes! Either one look like they could finish this at any point. Edge of the seat stuff
  11. You are right. We done it for Sam Baldock but that was seen as a marquee signing. We also done it for Jamie Paterson as well…
  12. Undoubtedly. I see Semenyo signing for them more to do with playing in the championship next season. He isn’t a player going to save them from relegation. But it’s a step up for him and a learning. The fact people are happy with Cornick coming in as his replacement really does show where we are at currently.
  13. But we are getting a decent windfall, surely a million of that is for reinvestment. Cant wait to sell Scott for £25m in the summer and sign Lansbury as his replacement!
  14. Here’s hoping he goes to Swansea and we get someone decent enough to replace Semenyo! I get £9m needs to balance the books but a chunk of that needs to be reinvested in the playing squad. How has it come to us looking at Luton’s fringe players ffs!
  15. But what difference does it make? A player signs for another club then he is their player. They should be able to do as that want ”Sorry, you can’t play in this semi final as you played in the third round three months ago for a completely different team that were then knocked out in the fourth round anyway”. I really don’t get the point in your argument. With transfer windows nowadays a club couldn’t get to a final and just sign a load of players?
  16. Is it just me who feels this cup tied rule is very prehistoric? Would Semenyo playing in the cup for Bournemouth make any difference to us?
  17. Went to Preston away on coach many years ago. In fact it was the season we were promoted under John Ward. I remember it so well as the lock on the toilet on the coach broke on the way up and I was stuck inside for what felt like half the journey!
  18. Keep watching the first goal from yesterday, mainly to see Scott’s pass to Pring. It looks so simple but so much to admire. Outside of the foot, perfectly weighted, Pring doesn’t have to break stride. To make such a pass look so easy just confirms everything we already know about him.
  19. I think that was more to do with it looking shoulder to shoulder at the time. Watching it again Nahki definitely trips him. Not that we care mind you! Anyone think the complaint to the FA could have played any part in the refs thinking? I guess this is the sort of thing we wanted out of it, putting the pressure on official to give us more favourable decisions.
  20. Think we had the ref on our side for when Wells scored. Seen it a few times now, first thought it was shoulder to shoulder but the more I see it the more convinced I am that Wells trips the defender. Clever play maybe. It that goal is scored against us we’d be fuming the free kick wasn’t given.
  21. This league is crazy. At one point today Luton were third and yet finish the day in ninth!
  22. I thought the turned down Villa’s bid and said they would not be letting him leave. Could be wrong on that though.
