Notwithstanding the "we should have bought for the now argument", I completely agree he should be given time. If he can perform like the youtube clips, in the Championship we'll all be delighted. I think what a lot of people are concerned about is that the management have done the opposite. They didn't give him time and threw a youngster into a situation that they were completely unprepared for. They didn't do the team or the player any favours at all. I hope the damage isn't permanent.

I think I'd use the word staggering ahead of interesting. Staggering that they could take the support for granted like that. This was the season to progress towards top 10, but it looks like mañana all over again. The great project with no deadlines or measures of success, can't fail can it.

Agreed. I wasn't thinking tinpot at the time. We were in dreamland at the thought of playing at Anfield, let alone winning. What else did we have to shout about back then, not much. As for Liverpool not being great, remember how bad we were. It was a great result.

Does anybody know what you need to show to board the coaches? Will a screen shot of the booking suffice, or do they check you by name? Thanks in advance.

Well that was good to watch yesterday and my sons first away match too. The number of times we robbed them of the ball was unbelievable. 3 Boxing Day away matches for me now, Fulham, Brentford and Watford and all wins. I was quite impressed with my first visit to Vicarage Road, neat, compact, good sound system and four corner floodlights always look good. Nice of them to play a song for us as well.
