Reading through this thread, Lee Johnson (the player) came to mind. He often didn't play the simple pass and often tried the impossible ball, and people got on his back (a little unfairly at times I thought) for it. Maybe the experience influenced him as a manager. Personally I like to see a mix of pass (and move of course) and killer balls through when it's on. Endless passing can be a bit dull. I like what I've seen of Knight so far, a right pest for the opposition.
