  1. Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I understand the Yanks have offered Wally £5m for da roverz. Wally is holding out and wants £10m.
  2. Yes Dave, I watched some of that display by Leistner and I have to say he genuinely looked like a bloke they plucked from the stands. Looked absolutely dreadful. We need to get at him tonight and test his mettle. Eze up front is a good player. Our mutual friend and scout had watched him several times and highly rated him. The key tonight really is to test that defence after their battering last week. They’ll be low on morale and so we need to get at them and not let their confidence build. Especially that German.
  3. Dunno mate. I’d hazard a guess at Rovers thinking having 40 lads out in town gave them the courage to act the big men and they got given a lesson by 15 City lads that they can’t take the piss. And before anyone doubts those numbers/odds, it’s easily verifiable. 40 vs 15. No argument. I don’t wanna share publicly mate. Sorry. But there are a few doing the rounds. And in one, a gas lad is heard saying “is that City? Get it on video - f^^^ ‘em”. Basically a gas ****, rather than stepping in to save his mates from A&E decided to film it to get blokes nicked. Grass Hit Squad!
  4. Definitely City v Rovers related, though the Post story will obvs not say that as they prob wouldn’t know at that time. However, pretty easy to see from the video who’s involved. There’s a photo of 40 gas outside the White Hart at top of Park Row. The fight is outside the Cooler on Park Street. The earlier gas photo can easily be checked vs the video and you can recognise many of them. You don’t see many of the City faces on the vid but you do hear the CSF chanted, therefore very easy to summise this was City v Rovers. Many of the gas lads will be easily recognisable from the video (I can name 5 of them) so I’d guess a few bans will be dished out. Plus the couple in A&E will be identified!
  5. I know a fat las who’s shagged him. Honestly, unless you were seriously desperate, you wouldn’t.
  6. Don’t think so. The previous chap left due to ill health and a new bloke came in last summer. New bloke knew it was wrong from the first look. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-pitch-memorial-stadium-1068090.amp Stadium Manager pocketed a tidy sum (allegedly), as he just bought regular sand rather than the more expensive stuff. Basically they’ve been playing on Weston beach. I hope the donkeys didn’t get assaulted.
  7. I’ve had some info about “Sand-Gate”. Remember when they said they’d used the wrong kind of sand on their pitch, hence it being so shit. Remember when they sacked their Stadium Manager earlier in the season? Well. Allegedly, said Stadium Manager was responsible for ordering the required sand (suitable for their fibre pitch). Said Stadium Manager then decided to purchase a much cheaper sand product and pocket the difference himself. Full of wrong ‘uns over there, they really are.
  8. Wedding!! You are assuming this gimp will one day meet a woman? Not happening.
  9. Ha ha yeah. Marvellous day. Soon scarpered when informed that the City is Red and politely asked to leave. Edit - oh and then one of them got chopsy once they were 25 yards down the road. Brave chap.
  10. Update on Slags Big Day Out. Apparently they’ve now left the establishment after abusing an elderly gentleman with “if you don’t like the noise we’re making you can always drink somewhere else”. Pleasant bunch. Doing their club prowed.
  11. I hear the 15ers players have been given the day off because they won a game and are currently lording it up in a Gloucester Road establishment. One of them apparently wearing a WBA shirt!! As witnessed by a prolific contributor to this thread. When asked why they were there, and responded with “we’ve got the day off cuz we won”, they weren’t too enamoured with the retort “that’ll be why I’ve never seen you in here before then.” Supposedly this is a reason to be called a “c***” by the slags. Keep up the good work fella.
  12. The gifting goes on tonight. I’m hearing there’s been a spot of bother down there in “Sag Heartland” at the King Billy, Warmley. Large scale disorder so say. Some City chaps there laughing their behinds off who are describing it as “ha ha, it’s Rovers onto Rovers. And they’re arguing about City”. Oh my days.
  13. I think Skusey is over-egging it a bit there. If he went to watch as a kid, let’s say from the age of 10, we played Rovers 5 out of 6 years when Skuse would’ve been aged 10-16. If anything, the late 80’s and through the 90’s (ie through Skuse’s childhood) was when the rivalry was at its closest.
  14. No chance. They are 5 points behind the last spot, which is the only one that’ll be available. Bradford hold that spot now and have lost 6 out of 7. They’ll turn that around. Even if they don’t turn that around, they’ll have to make up points on Charlton, Portsmouth & Plymouth - 3 decent sides who’ll take a lot of catching. Rovers have 7 games left vs teams above them, including 5 against the top 7. Tough run-in and points gap to close. If they do it then they’ll have to pull out all the stops, and their season so far doesn’t suggest they can do that consistently enough. **** ‘em!
  15. A minimum wage contract is unlikely to help their finances then!
  16. Not averaged more than 10,000 in 41 years? How can this be? Surely that must be fake news?
  17. But wasn’t that Antwerp pyro summat else!
  18. Is it a ‘Championship Ready’ natural spring?
  19. I’ve got to come back to this “We’d get 50,000 if we’re top 4 prem year on year”. Just checked some stats. Only Man U and Arsenal have averaged over 50,000 in each of the last 4 years. So the deluded blue few believe that, should they ever reach the premier league, they would become the 3rd best supported club in the country. When they’ve not actually sold out the barely 10k swamp in 15 years!
  20. I’m sure that if Chesterfield, Walsall, Southend and everyone else they’ve compared themselves with would also average 50,000 if they were “top four prem year on year”. I mean seriously! Top 4 year on year. What the hell is this bloke on about. He’s basically saying that if the Gappers were up there with Man U, Man C, Arsenal & Chelsea for a sustained period, then their crowds would increase. Duh! What a truly baffling bunch they are.
  21. The only real surprise is it’s not a tinpot
  22. Just £5.50 an hour can pay for a member of staff to sell the pies. Oops, no it can’t. £200 can pay the centre half’s wages for the week.
  23. Wow. Just watched that Wally interview posted a few days ago. Ha ha ha. Jeepers. Seriously, what the F. Have you ever seen so much squirming nonsensical crump. I get the impression he has absolutely zero idea of how to run a football club. He really hasn’t got a scooby, has he.
