"ON THEIR DAY" is the catch! They were all stupendous on their day - but they could also be incredibly frustrating or even appeared lazy. I recall watching Jacki at West Ham and he was terrible - but other times he was unbelievable. I will always treasure the magic moments of all these players.

I would hope that we are all biased towards City.

'And here's to you, Liam Robinson....
City love you more than you will know...'
If you watched him in that match at Peterborough, you would have been enthused by Liam. Two goals scored, if I recall correctly, but he never hit those heights again. Nice lad though!

Can only see one objection in lots of scrolling down the page
I wonder if it's the same names against the development as Ashton Vale
Was the complainant someone called A. Newt?

It must be part of the training course for referees - never. ever award a penalty to Bristol City.

The pendulum may well swing the other way sometime. Let's hope that tonight is our turn to benefit from his largesse.

Baz Savage was exciting to watch, but for all the wrong reasons
It puts me in mind of Maximus in the film Gladiator......."are you not entertained?"

The woman who cuts my hair and trims my beard is actually very attractive. ………
But is she a gashead?

Overheard an amusing conversation in the barbers earlier.
Firstly the owner Dave is a die hard gas head, a season ticket holder and while I was waiting for the other chair he was chirping about their 4-0 win at Burton and Citys home defeat on Saturday…..what made it amusing that two other customers, also gasheads were joining in both unaware that I’m a City fan.
They reckoned that Pearson is too ‘downbeat’ and comes across on RB as a miserable sod………. They started moaning about the pasties at the Mem which were sold out by 2:15pm as was the bottled water. Dave then asked for tap water and was charged £2! claiming that it was filtered! Not surprisingly he refused to pay up telling them that they can’t charge for tap water even if it was filtered…………………
Apparently according to them City won’t get anywhere with Nige in charge and that Lansdown should appoint a ‘proper manager’. Then they started accusing SL of nepotism and reckoned that Jon Lansdown “doesn’t have a personality”……….
The conversation continued whist I was in the chair and as I paid up I rolled up the sleeve of my T shirt and showed them all my City tattoo……….
Fact is - football fans are all the same regardless of which club they support and the Rovers dustbin thread on here kinda proves that………….
You actually let a gashead near your throat with a sharp implement? I knew you had issues, but that is asking for trouble!

Can't help thinking that either Vyner or Naismith could be the defensive midfielder that we need. ZV is quick, strong and can be very physical. Naismith is slower but can tackle well and is a good passer. Maybe the manager is missing a trick.

Both my sons support other teams, Isewater, the eldest, supports his home town team, Derby County and the youngest supports Newcastle since the days of Keegan, Asprilla, Ginola and company and remains loyal but we still discuss the City as both of them consider the mighty Robins as their second team.
That must be grounds to dis-inherit them!

I`m calling BS. They don`t sell sherry in flagons.
Not quite true! I once had a landlady in Leicester who used to send me down to the corner shop to get her flagon filled up with draught sherry! It was so strong that it could dissolve teeth!

I wish you people would lay off all this negative stuff. Lets wait until the ink is dry.

Maybe the lad who was on loan at Taunton has decided not to take up the offer of a contract?

Needs to hurry up now and get back for his season long holiday to sign for Coventry. I’m eager for the club to progress with other incomings and no doubt his wages still on the books are a hold up in some regards
I expect he will need a break after all his holidays.

Google, I Googled the name you said. Which obviously I've forgotten, because I never knew it in the first place. And definitely not watched the film several times .
I actually knew there was a film although I have never seen it. When I was very young I had to "house sit" for my old boss and I found the book in his book case. I never looked at him in the same way again!

What could also be telling, is that you knew the name of the star of the film
You say it was a film? I thought it was a book. Maybe you know a bit more about this stuff than you are letting on!

My only memory of deep throat was a film back in the 1960's or 70's?.
I was referring to a term used for a covert informant........and you immediately think of Linda Lovelace! Maybe that is telling!
