Meanwhile, Argyle apparently took 1000 to Salford and made up half the attendance tonight.
That is away support - not like that tinpot little outfit.
Sold out away end, everyone wearing blue, I heard

Terry cooper came over to the away end and asked for calm .city mob walked through the home end before the start of my memory serves me right
All dressed in suits, carrying umbrellas. That's how the home end (side) was infiltrated (undercover). Walked across to the other side, then all hell broke loose.

If I remember rightly a big mob of Man City turned up .
You do indeed. Playing pool at the time and the cues came in very handy - saved us from a battering!
We weren't given the normal area reserved for away fans, being chucked in the 'bear pit' instead (you needed to be 6ft to see the pitch), but the bear pit emptied when it kicked off in the stand behind. Different times.

Interesting day out - five of us travelled up, three came home.
Stockport the following week was almost as bad.

“It was a bit rainy yesterday”
Fair enough, I wouldn't want to be in a tent in that weather

Still only one League goal.
You won't be saying that this time next year (by which time he'll have scored another). Probably.

That 'wish list' shows the gap between the two clubs.
True, but the gap is closing fast. The list represents 10s of pounds worth of improvements. Maybe as much as £1000. Times are a changing, Wally is spending his billions.

False news. To clarify, they have clean carpets, not new ones.

Assuming everyone is available for selection LJ has got some tough decisions today:
- Little or Moore, probably Litts
- Pack or Reid, suspect Pack might get the nod as we try to go a bit more solid away
- Golbourne or Bryan, playing Bryan might be more attack minded, but allows another one of our wide-men to start, where there is probably the most contention for places
- Bryan or O'Dowda or Freeman or Paterson, for the two wide berths. If Bryan starts on left, there's one from three on the right wing
Can't see Smith getting a start.
My team:
O'Donnell, Little, Flint, Magnússon, Golbourne, Freeman, Pack, O'Neil, Bryan, Tomlin, Abraham
Subs:
Fielding, Ekstrand, Moore, Reid, O'Dowda, Paterson, Wilbraham
Not getting kit on:
Brownhill, Smith, Engvall - one not quite done enough yet, one still on the road to fitness, the other has been carrying a knock. If I had to swap 2 of them into the 18 it would be Reid and Wilbraham to drop out. Would be a bit of a kick in the nuts to Reid.
Expect LJ will think differently...also think he'll be doing a fair bit of man-management along the lines of "2 back to back away games, 3 games in a week" type stuff, and expect the squad to be used over the next week, unlike last season.
Think we may go five at the back today, with the new Swede in.

Neath-born Hamer was chairman of Swansea during difficult financial times for the club a decade ago.
After Hamer’s departure the club had to seek a Company Voluntary Arrangement to sort out its financial troubles"

That car park is massive, they should try building something on there!I'm making no comment on the shocking court decision today, honest.
