I don't think the announcement has anything to do with when it was done, but if we did a photoshoot with him in a number 9 shirt before telling people Martin had left  it would look a bit off

Thats true, not sure we had to wait until 10.30 to release them. But maybe its what allows us to finalize one or more signings (maybe giving Palace what they want for O'Brien too).

For somebody who is only 30 he looks so confident and assured in that clip, when he does go to a bigger club you cannot imagine he'd have any issue managing the big name players.

Assume he also speaks Belgium fluently, so really impressive.

    Assume he speaks what?

First Albanian to play for the City surely?

Probably for the first team (although Anis was born in England). For any teams I think the correct answer is Kleton Perntreou. Signed him via trial for the youth teams but turned down professional terms and went to Hibernian. Now playing in Cyprus. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kleton-perntreou/profil/spieler/295073

His spoken English is very good so no issues there.

Guess we don’t need a work permit so if we are just waiting on international clearance I’d expect him to be on the bench v West Brom.

I'd expect that, he's a British citizen to be fair.

Yeah it was odd, I presume it was Zak’s as one of them told him to get rid of it. I know he played on loan there for a few games but it’s not like it’s his home town.

It’ll have to come down next season if we’re in the same division………. Plymouth going up just to be clear.

He made a hand gesture to suggest it wasn't his but *shrug* still a bit odd.

Good announcement article as well. Easy to understand and highlights the main points.

I understand that a finance specific interview with Richard Gould will be published this week in order to further explain to those fans who are not currently wallpapering their house with copies of our accounts.

As I understand above, there was certainly no shortage of wallpaper paste. At least that's what I assume that was....

    Nope? Me neither.

Get the impression that this should resonate somehow, but it doesn't.

Thanks for posting this for awareness, good to know our stadium will be used for the growing women's game.

No need for the dismissiveness that followed, however.
