  1. He quite clearly has possession of the ball in all of those clips. Not sure how that's a comparison to deliberately putting your foot in front of another player with the only intention of getting hit and then claiming a foul
  2. Voted O'Leary for legit reasons and Mebude for a laugh
  3. Delighted would be ridiculous, but of course it's nice to be winning games. If we can get to 60 points, it'll give us a reasonable finish to the season where we can hopefully reset and work out what we actually want to achieve next season
  4. As opposed to no possession and no threat
  5. If you're applying that logic then no trip would be foul as it's the other player's fault for running into the leg

    Wells

Bit harsh, I thought he did well creating problems which helped open things up a bit for Mehmeti and Sykes. Conway started well but faded and the change was needed
  7. Worth noting that this is only reflective of current and then championship sides rather than the whole country, where presumably we haven't seen as much growth as the numerous teams that have strolled past us to the Prem

    Manning in

It was a good win against a poor Leicester team. Nothing to get carried away with and the next few games will be an opportunity that we can hopefully make the most of this time to kick on a little bit
  9. Just absolutely nothing of substance from Manning yet again, despite some good questions being thrown his way. That question was great and a perfect opportunity for him to explain his thinking even just a little bit but his response was just so empty. He even turned it into a "well there are plenty of times I've made great subs" completely missing the point of the question. It's that self-defensiveness and arrogance that people really don't like. To say that he's not bothered about looking back at the West Brom game because it was a long time ago, only to then reference multiple other games that were much longer ago sums it up.
  10. Everything about this club is just so weird/frustrating at the moment
  11. I know it's his job and ultimately he did fail when it came to managing at a higher level, but it must have been a right pain in the ass managing the likes of Trundle and Noble
  12. That's a terrible slogan
  13. Nice to have the proper coat of arms badge rather than Jon's robin "crest" as well
  14. Maybe 3 or 4 wins and a couple of draws would of course ease the pressure a bit A lot would also depend on the manner of wins as well. If they're one off wins similar to the Swansea performance he was so pleased with, then that will do little good for him He's got a couple of weeks to reset things a bit, try to get a cup like performance out of the Leicester game then we really have to be beating Plymouth (particularly if we lose to Leicester as expected)
  15. Championship stability is certainly some kind of progress, in a way. Although it definitely feels like us and Preston are stuck in limbo. Probably most frustrating about the lack of improvement in the last 16 years is that there's no real reason for it other than incompetent leadership from the top.
  16. In fairness to Manning, and I never thought I'd say that , it looks like he had a similar start with Oxford last year when he took over. 5 dull draws and 2 defeats to nil in his first 7 games. From what he's said about "not working much with possession", it seems quite clear that the only thing he's really bothered about now is working out of possession with his boring, block football. I would assume he's then looking to implement whatever he wants to do with the ball from next season when we can look to strengthen in those areas. I kind of get it, but it smacks of not being able to read the room in the meantime and concerns me how adaptable he'll be in the future when needed. Not to mention that it's almost blind faith that what he will implement over the next pre-season will even work anyway.
  17. No time off. They're all working really hard don't you know. In at 7, out at 7
  18. If I was Nige, I'd be doing everything I can to get to this game in some capacity whether as a pundit, special guest of the away team, or sat directly behind Steve and Jon throwing popcorn at them
  19. No chance. I would imagine though that their budget is somewhat comparable to what we had a few years afo
