Individuals just doing it randomly.

Barnet is convenient and close to his home base (via Stevenage & Luton) , I think. Still absolutely mental though.

if someone’s being loud you make a “turn the volume down” comment, with a hand gesture mimicking turning the volume down on a stereo -

Celebration today was them all doing a “turn the volume down” reference -
I.e - we’d love to sign him, but atm we are aware it’s dreamland thinking.

Where has this obsession with pitch invading come from? Feels like it happens so much over the past few years, out of nowhere?!

I’ll believe it when I see it. And even then I might not believe it!!

Still has 2 years left on his deal, so Burnley have absolutely no need to be charitable on the fee. If they do come down, which they probably will, the very best we could do is have a season long loan with a fee attached imo. Either that, or succumb and pay £4-5m. If Burnley are hell bent on that, we should thanks but no thanks and move straight for Rudoni.

That has to be one of the strangest final games ever. Playing an already relegated side, who have gone a whole season without an away win, in weather conditions that made it feel like the first game of winter, playing in a home kit that we’ve been wearing for 15 months. -
Pretty sure he went down the tunnel into the changing room before the game had even finished

Incredibly wasteful so far -
Lush wraps aren’t they. Pack a bit of a punch too.

The greatest squad Rovers have ever had, and one of the strongest squads in league one this season, going to finish 20 points outside the play-offs. That’s some going

I think King will get some minute today, as a “final time at AG as a fan/player” type treat. -

I’m sure he’s gutted to be living in a nicer place, playing at a more settled club at the level, and earning a fair bit more money each month! -

Blimey, fair play to them. The 06/07 game they brought about 60 iirc? -
I think he is eligible, but don’t think he will be used

Just been to the sonny stores pop up in Quaker's friar, they’ve taken over the old Klausterhaus site whilst their usual place on Raleigh Road is being refurbed. 3 courses for £25, every weekday lunch. New menu every day. Was amazing value (those with a * are eligible for the deal), essentially getting a 3 course meal that’s typically cost £40-£50 for £25. Highly recommend, and is an amazing work day pick me up!

The irony in all this is, for me, if they would’ve just said something pretty cutting like “we appreciate all he’s done, but the working relationship became untenable, we weren’t going to renew his contract as a result and so we wanted to make a change” it would’ve actually made things easier for them as we are now. It would’ve been a shock, made them seem harsh and very savage, but wouldn’t have meant anywhere near as much flack and toxicity for them as they’ve ended up receiving in the long run. Whats the saying, if you tell the truth you’ll never need to try and remember what you’ve said?- 308 replies
