  1. R Joe must be under pressure given his horrific record this calendar year. Probs got a job for life there though. Long May it last.
  2. Did his classic step over, should drops and **** all else. He’s a fake hard man on the pitch too. Says it all that both Duff & Martin publicly said they want him gone, yet no one came in for him. Shame.
  3. He created the same at Leicester after the Watford Deeney moment. By all accounts at the start of pre season, in a far more stern and serious way, said do you really want to be known as the side who fell apart in 15 seconds, which will be shown on tv for years and years to come, and then also didn’t get over the line the next season too. Rest is history
  4. Truly incredible win. Amazing team spirit after such an emotional week for fans. Pearson isn’t a dinosaur, Naismith isn’t only a midfielder, Cornick is better centrally, Knight isn’t only a league one player, Bell doesn’t need a league one loan. As you were. Absolutely ******* brilliant win!!!!
  5. DKFJFJDJEJRJFIFIFBBEEJKRJFBDBE SEND HIM TO LEAGUE ONE ON LOAN!!!!
  6. I’m being deadly serious. He needs to be looked at for match fixing. Genuinely.
  7. All from them taking one pass after Williams losing a bouncing ball on the halfway line
  8. Let’s see who they + Barton blame… The FA Peterborough MacAnthony EFL His agent taxi driver not driving fast enough the bloke who knocked out the sprinklers last week green party themselves for leaving it too late
  9. HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHHHAHHAHAH
  10. Hang on…. They didn’t want him as he’s too expensive and old and isn’t value for money until half an hour ago ???
  11. No magic JCH after it all it seems then. Didn’t want him anyway apparently!
  12. Would say something bacterial / doctor ‘led’ (and potentially embarrassing) is v different to a ‘standard’ footy injury like a muscle injury. genuinely quite concerned for Ross. Whatever it is, must a pretty serious health concern. Poor lad.
  13. But isn’t good enough and needs to be loaned out to L1 according to some? unreal belly. And well deserved. Huge accolade to even be in the picture given the quality in our younger age groups at a national level.
  14. I honestly feel so lucky to have had him. Total class and measured no matter what. Steered us with togetherness through choppy waters that not many would’ve wanted to do. Totally immersed himself in the area that many of us live & grew up in. No matter what ill be thankful for him for the state he will leave the club in. The lansdowns however, are a total disgrace for how they’ve managed this last 3 years. Cowardly, and in no way leaders. Simple as that in my eyes.
  15. Felt sorry for him yesterday. Literally everything he did was wrong. Was sat at the bottom of the lansdown, and first half he looked like he had no idea what to do. Roamed marking player to player with roberts and Naismith havig to direct him. Got a few bolluckings from Nige too. Was surprised to see him make the second half
  16. Williams will be on a decent chunk, as will Dickie. My hunch is Naismith is top earner. but as you say, I can’t work out a huge cohort of players on mega bucks. There’s certainly no one we’re trying to push out the door to free up cash wages wise anymore anyway.
  17. I’m losing track on it all to be honest. There’s so many contradicting statements/comments. Put in the other thread, but Tinnion said pre Man City (I think, might’ve been later actually) that we had a list of targets for if Alex stays vs an additional list for if he goes. Pearson says the players signed pre season were signed to play alongside Alex, quote Knight isn’t a replacement for Alex, he’s here to play with him. After Alex js sold, SL says in his Guernsey chat that we always knew Alex was going to be sold, so we preemptively spent some of that money on the incomings that came in before he left. ??????
  18. He’s probably in the mindset of this is my last ever year of work, so why stop early. Clearly loves the job, immersed in the area that he lives in….no real need to if you’ll be finished up in 8 months anyway. Sad reality
  19. You and me both. I genuinely have no idea why, of all the times, Lansdown decides that now is the time to pull the rug up. Hearing Pearson last night on RB depressed me and has properly dampened my excitement for the season tbh. Tinnion went on record to say there’s a list of targets to sign if Alex stays, and if he goes. Pearson said Knight was signed to play alongside Alex for 46 games, not replace him. Lansdown says…….we spent some of the Alex money ‘in advance of him leaving because we knew he would(??!?!??)’, and now there is no replacement, at all. What changed? This is where we can just hope for a decent, challenging appearance on Radio Bristol or something not from the club media, because there’s a lot of stuff not adding up for me.
