  1. Find it quite telling he’s referred to us as ‘we’ and ‘us’ in his interview. Pretty rare for a loan player to do that from day dot!
  2. I think this is a cheap precaution to McCrorie being out slightly longer than we thought (not necessarily months and months), as well as missing out on the lad from Bolton
  3. Speechless at how strong the vitriol toward Pearson was on Boxing Day 2022
  4. From the way Pearson first described it, it seemed like a pretty personal, potentially embarrassing, one hence the “please don’t press me any further on it” confirmation. Easiest assumption is something has gone wrong with his hernia op/recovery but who knows. Doesn’t seem like something the club will be too forthcoming with, understandably
  5. Financially in the shit, gave him a 4 year deal last year. Played 30 games last season looks like. Like the sound of this one a lot, makes perfect sense for it
  6. I think this is the point where it really highlights just how ****** we were when Nige came in. All those players gone or revised, and we’re still probably not in the greatest of places.
  7. That’s my thoughts too. Next few weeks that’ll become clearer. Was racking my Brains earlier, have we ever had a manager have less than a year left on his contract like this before? The fact that’s not been addressed one way or another, SL never mentioning him in interview etc says to me this is only going to end one way sadly. NP will be very cheap to get rid of, Should SL wish, and I think that’s a factor too.
  8. Would’ve been daylight robbery if we equalised then
  9. This BBC commentary team is absolutely unbearable. “This could be it” at literally every spain attack
  10. If true and it is only 12 months tho I personally don’t see the point
  11. Looked like he couldn’t move all game. Got incredibly lucky on two occasions second half. Was in goal for them in Jan and we stuck 4 past him. Not the reason they won today tbh
  12. He had 3 chances to hire Robins and didn’t… yet somehow now seems to bring him up at any opportunity as if he’s some up and coming coach no one has ever heard of
  13. I genuinely don’t want him back. If we’re suddenly good enough now, why weren’t we 6 weeks ago. Season has started and both him & HNM seem very far away from signing for clubs. Whether it’s being misled by someone, or their own hearts leading their heads, but both have really taken three steps back.
  14. The ******* gorms seem split, either Johnson Clarke-Harris is going to buy himself out of his contract to sign for them (????) or they’ve bid £1m for him that’s been rejected as Posh want £3m ?????? ffs ???
  15. What a win for the L1 galaticos today after they had the greatest transfer window week in history according to their fans
  16. I’m not saying it wasn’t poor. It was. But wells misses a huge sitter to make it 1-1. Then suddenly we’ve got a point with ten men against a poor side. I don’t care too much about shots on target cause all of theirs outside of a brilliant individual goal and a good break away all of theirs were take efforts straight at Max basically. Too many off it today with loads of inexcusable passes and loose touches that were totally embarrassing. As I said, I really do think Pearson is under pressure already. Not favoured by the ownership already, he’s been backed in the market (in SL’s eyes) cheap to get rid of, vast majority of fans see home games which have both been under par which doesn’t help his cause at all. Huge few weeks ahead.
  17. I’m sure there will be one about him, even when he had a fairly good first half. Won’t be enough to save him
  18. People say this is the toughest championship ever. Then seem surprised when we don’t blow teams away every minute of the game. These beat Leeds last week, and tbh on another day feasibly we drew with them 1-1 with ten men. Shit happens. What makes it worse is that it seems to always happen in the home games. I think ultimately that’s what will push SL over the edge if it doesn’t change soon.
  19. I honestly think we’ve been alright. A bit meh. But 2-0 flatters them. Scored a worldie volley and a breakaway against a team with 10 men about 2 minutes after wells misses from 3 yards. Poor but doesn’t turn us into a horrific side overnight. I’d say this is the beginning of Pearson being under pressure though. Clearly hasn’t got a good relationship with the ownership and with 7 months on his contract will be very cheap to get rid of.
  20. Theyre getting every little ricochet falling to them and we have heavy touches setting in. Not sure how you blame coaches for that but I’m sure people will
