There have been empty seats everywhere for most of the 2nd half. Not that unusual in World Cups where two teams from economically poor and small countries might be playing on another continent, but it’s the host nation and opening game ffs.

Now the winter is kicking in will be interesting to see how proactive the club is in making the fan zone work. Huddled together in a pop up gazebo may not be the way forward.

 

If it’s good enough for season ticket holders while watching the game then it’s fine for the Fan Zone

An away point would be a great result

I can’t recommend the Upper Lansdown family area enough. I took my three year old daughter recently and she loved it. If you’d like to ease the family in, there’s plenty to do for kids at the Women’s matches too.

Here’s my daughter on the ball enjoying herself at the High Performance Centre before the Women beat Blackburn 2-0. It’s a really great setup.
