I wish him well but do these sorts of moves ever work out? The player always seems to leave within 3-6 months.

Obviously supportive of any environmental initiatives etc but clubs do need to look in the mirror seriously if they actually are serious.
Did we fly to Hull?
Did we need to fly to Austria for pre season?
This is all clubs not just us. If clubs are really serious they need to cut these sorts of things out rather than just signing up to initiatives etc
Its the curse of the modern age. Preaching water while drinking wine.
E2A: this isn’t a dig at the club, I really like that excess food is given to the needy.

I thought he was poor but his reputation may have something to do with that and might have coloured my interpretation of his decisions.
No way could I see his performance as a consistent one, but we didn’t lose because of the ref.

Handed them three goals today really, so sloppy.

Done down the right again

Ref is dreadful

Cheers, I’m always keen to listen to level headed opinions from knowledgeable fans. I’ll try One Stream in Bristol.

Is that Ian as in Ian Gay?

I'm all for blasting a shite ref, but let's give the cheating *** that won the pen some stick.
After watching some of the women's football, all this sort of stuff reminds me of how much more honest their game is.
I’d expect him to be charged by the FA with successful deception of the referee and get a three game ban, but that doesn’t help us.

Get him out of the league, 6 weeks at least.

I hope he does well but he’s not playing in the Irish league by accident. Could still kick on and make a good career in England, but the gas, Cheltenham, swindon and FGR aren’t far away, and none of them deemed him worthy of a punt

I don’t see us troubling the play offs, but I see a decent mid table finish as achievable, provided we don’t lose any of our top players late in the window.

Red army 75 kindly sent me his codes but I couldn’t use them without the website crashing (something to do with an under 12 being part of the booking), so I gave the ticket office a call and they said rather casually “oh yes that’s a known problem, you have to call us”; I said well I’m calling you now and she said their systems are down so it’s online only til tomorrow
in the end I paid full price
did anyone manage to make it work?

I'm not even going to start trying to work out what it's going to cost in diesel in the car!!
Still cheaper I’d have thought. Plus you can leave at a time of your choosing.

Should be fine. When the codes come out I will give you 2 for you both. No problem

They go on sale, you'll be fine
An opening day win in front of a sell out crowd, she’ll be hooked for life

Sunderland home will be my daughter’s first ever game but now I’m worried we won’t get a ticket

The way Nigel put it was that he only wanted to play his own way. Which I took to mean he refused to follow instructions.
And couldn’t get out of bed on time despite earning thousands of pounds a week.

Curtis Fleming has more chance of getting a game for us.
I did think about adding that Nige would probably put himself in the middle in the event of an injury crisis rather than let TB get an appearance bonus

Might have knocked the billy big bollocks attitude out of him (failing to make much of an impression in League 1), but I doubt it.
Would be surprised if he plays in the championship again, unless we have an injury crisis this year.
-
He’s got the best brief money can buy, and he’s got away with one court case already. I expect him to be found Not Guilty, even though I think he’s guilty as sin from the public evidence.

What if the points deduction is waived and a club are relegated, one point and one place below Derby? That’s surely an impossible condition to expect from the EFL.

If the club insist on charging premier league prices, despite repeated calls from supporters for some cheaper tickets, then some signs of progress towards at least a PO challenge isn’t unreasonable.
