  1. Indeed. Same old story unfortunately patience is wearing thin for me
  2. A pretty fair summary.. We need to try and get Scott on the ball more second half. Conway looks really lively and energetic
  3. I cannot stand that McLean! Comes across like an absolute bellend
  4. Will they ****. Mid-table at best.
  5. Without wanting to sound harsh on Fontaine but that’s going to happen when playing in front of a live paying crowd. I never once felt sorry for him to be honest - he was a liability come the end just like Zak is now. People pay good money to watch these highly paid ‘professionals’ and don’t expect mistakes week in week out which was where Fontaine was towards the end. It has been done to death on here but Vyner is far too mistake prone at this level. It’s not really comparable to Fontaine anyway who was a very good centre half at this level for many seasons for us who just unfortunately lost his way towards the end of his career.
  6. Indeed. Much prefer Italian domestic football, much more interesting to watch both on and off the field. La Liga and spanish fans are just dead, most of their clubs don’t even take away followings to games…
  7. Genuinely shocked that he is the first Premier League player in history to attend a pride march to be honest.
  8. I think once we get going and can get Kalas and Semenyo back we will be fine this season so much as in we won’t get relegated. That is IMO behind the scenes all the board and probably Pearson are truly expecting with the squad as it stands barring a minor miracle. Certainly isn’t a disaster and nowhere near as bad as some recent times. I still have faith that Pearson is the right man..
  9. Not good enough even as a squad player. It’s a shame as i feel Zak’s heart is in the right place but you need so much more than that to succeed at Championship level.
  10. We are miles off the pace. A real concern and i genuinely feel anything above lower mid-table would be an incredible season for us.
  11. I work with a Boro fan and what you have said echo’s what he says to me about Warnock’s time there. By all accounts they were glad to see the back of him. For what it’s worth I’ve always been a fan of Warnock and genuinely think if he had been given the chance here possibly after say GJ had got sacked we would have had at least one stint in the Prem by now. The ship has sailed now though and IMO he is pretty finished in club management particularly at this level even if he did want to come out of retirement.
  12. Of course they aren’t worth that in todays market but unfortunately that is what that pleb Mark Ashton paid out for them at the time. In the summer of 2019 we were spunking money like it was water and almost every single big money signing we made we aren’t going to make a penny back on. It is shocking to be honest.
  13. Probably the best single bit of business Nige has done since he has been here was getting Andi to sign a new contract last year. He is a superb player at this level IMO.
  14. Indeed. It is history repeating itself, sadly.
  15. The upper Lansdown should have been built with segregation in mind to be honest. Other clubs manage to do it so not sure why we can’t or why it couldn’t be explored as an option.
  16. At last! Hopefully clubs over here follow suit.
  17. Mental. It seems the powers that be are determined to drain every last bit of atmosphere left on a matchday out of football in this country.
